Oh yeah... I had to buy them, so I know it's very expensive. I'm on 500mg twice a day! The wierd thing is I've never had seizures, so I don't know why I'm on it. I have done google searches and haven't found anything mentioned about it being used for anything else.

I've been on Imetrex for a few years now. It doesn't always work, but it works way more often than anything else I've ever been on. And I've been on a ton!
I've never heard of that one, have you done the WebMD thing on it?

Haven't found it on WebMD yet, but it's on a few other sites I've searched.

I know someone else online who took it for bad migraines. But she had some horrible side effects. If I took 500mg twice a day (That is a full dose) I would be out cold on the floor! Well at least when I started it I would have been. I'm constantly tired and this is after a year on half a dose. I just don't see why they would you put you on Keppra, especially not a full dose. Maybe try and see if you can get a half dose. The tablets I take are 250mg each. Maybe you should go see a Neurologist and get them to explain just what it's supposed to be doing for you. Normally that kind of med is prescribed by one.

This was prescribed my pain specialist. I guess it's supposed to help with my nerve pain (neurothopy), in conjunction with the other med he prescribed. We shal see I guess.

;D Tina, another thing your forgetting is your old drugs are still in your system,& maybe mixing with the new ones,(or are you taking them as well?)hopefully it will all settle down, but unfortunately, you have to keep taking them to actually see if they are any good, every time I have tried a new drug they say 6 weeks minimum,to see if they work!

Yes, I'm still taking the ones I was already taking. I could open my own pharmacy! Karima, you never did say what's going on with you.
