Qui, I swear I could hear you breathe that sigh of relief. Xaphan knows about cousin Raven, remember in Ch.47 I think, he asked Dru how the reunion went. He just didn't expect Dru to sell him out, again! The person he doesn't really know as well as thinks he does is Drucilla herself. The fact that she keeps resisting her true nature is indeed a mystery to him. Whitelighters/Shadow Walkers don't have their wards life maps, their only purpose is to guide and protect them, so he had no idea what Dru will say and do when she arrived in Lake Witchyka, just like he had no idea a cloaking spell would be cast on the house. Information to both Whitelighters and Shadow Walkers is given as it comes, or as it happens. He'll def know a cloaking spell was cast on the house, but he won't know what they discussed, and that's why Uriah said Dru's acting skills had better be brilliant. She'll have to fool him, make him believe she's on his side. He can't read thoughts which are not being thought, so Dru has to make a conscious effort not to think about her lies and deception in his presence. I hope that makes sense? Let me know if it doesn't and I'll try and clarify. I agree, Uriah did get into attack mode. That's his primary job though, to look out for Alexis. For a while there he forgot his duties, he was a lover more than a protector. And he was going soft. I'm glad though the mere mention of Xaphan brought out his protective instincts again. It's just too bad Dru was on the receiving end. But, I must stress, Uriah will destroy anyone, friends, family or strangers if they pose a threat to Alexis. That's his job as her Whitelighter, and he has to fulfill that obligation. Alexis passing out like that is due to a lot of things, stress being one. She's exhausted, the past few weeks have been grueling on her, and seeing Uriah go crazy on her cousin is also a factor. Dru is def pretty. Karima should be proud of herself. I love her to bits too, and I also can't stop staring at her. She came there to warn Alexis, but she wouldn't talk unless she was absolutely sure Xaphan would have no way of knowing she'd ratted him out. She would never betray Alexis, it's not in her to be evil, though she is an evil witch. Oh yeah? I'm glad to hear it wasn't as short as I thought it was. Thank you. Ouch, the long chapter is giving me a headache. The lot where most scenes take place kept crashing on me, and I just gave up. I only managed to snap 4 shots Thank you Qui, for reading, your support, everything, always! Fallen literally still breathes because of you

I thought I was caught up, but I see there is a chapter 49 as well. Just read the three before. Took no notes and it's nearly 11 pm so I don't remember names as I should be in bed. I'll wait until I'm more awake for this next chapter. Anyway great stuff as always. ;D Poor cousin, that didn't look good. Glad they have solved their differences. Cute grandpa joke, although as he doesn't exactly look ancient it shouldn’t really matter should it. -I hope.

I hope Dru will be a good enough actress to convince Xaphan the spell was cast to trick Alexis into a false security in her presence, and that she can school her thoughts to support the lie. It'll be crazy hard to not think about the decption she's planning - esecially in Xaphan's presence.
I have a bad feeling that Dru's attempts at goodness will cost her dearly, but if she ends up dying to protect someone, maybe the dark can't claim her in the afterlife and the light will step in to claim her? I hope it doesn't come to that, but if it does, I hope her soul will be protected in the end.
Poor Alexis - she must be so overwhelmed with all the training, on top of emotionally exhausted from the endless current threats like Xaphan on top of worrying if she'll be good enough to help the whitelighters win the war. Now wondering if her own cousin wil be her downfall, and wondering if Uriah should kill her or not - seeing him attack the Dru she's begining to love, but knowing what Dru is dealing with and may have to switch sides for her own sanity...Then seeing Jolene sitting there, and mentally wondering what snide trick she'll try this time to put a wedge in between her and Uriah...no wonder she passed out! (man, that was long-winded. I may pass out!)
Loved seeing Uriah's attack mode - and I was surprised that they got Jolene to leave so easily. After all, her ward is in this mess, too. Maybe it's her whitelighter status that reminds her she's supposed to be working for good - not trying to steal Alexis' man!
There must be something in the rulebook saying Whitelighters can't be mean and vindictive, so maybe that's what's got her behaving like a "human". Lol!
And I can't say it enough...Grandma Becky ROCKS!

SUCCESS!!! I laugh at your summaries HA! I don't need them! My eyes are red and sore, my shoulders and muscles ache BUT I MADE IT! I DID IT ALL! I LOVE that Alexis understood and was quick to forgive her cousin, she knew the situation she was placed in and I wonder if she too would have made that same decision.
Grams is awesome and I ache for Dru. She is in such a bad place right now and keep getting used by everyone (the coven of vampires betrayed her and put her in this position!)
Uriah was quick to attack and ask questions later! He has such mood swings when Alexis is involved and I LOVE that lol it's awesome! I am leaving a sorta short comment here because...

I don't know...this doesn't have a "book" feel...perhaps I was able to shorten my ramblings! Ok so I made small comments throughout my reading as I went along...but wow...nothing at all can express what I was really feeling. First I want to say HOLY CRAP and OMG this was just an AMAZING read and my eyes are red and bloodshot but I've finally made it through! It took nearly 5 hours but I did it! I am proud of myself and sorry you wasted your time on the summaries for me (yes I know they are there for everyone BUT I'm selfish and I know you write only for me and for that I thank you) NOW: Second I'd like to say WOW! Ok, when you started reading Desired did you not notice the similiarities or just didn't say anything? Either we share a brain or same sources (I even saw similar spells!!!) I was just blown away besides the things with the Angels, which will happen in a different way in Desired , everything for me was mirrored! You have such incredible details though and I was blown away again by the depth in a lot of the histories and mythology you created! Even still your bad guy, Xaphan, shares traits to be seen soon from Karver. Though the shifting is a bit different as we've seen and explains differently. . Third, I am ABSOLUTELY in love with Ivan and Jared! I'll take them both and hug their pain away! Now on to the story: You have such unique, dedicated and strong characters YET AGAIN! This time they have more tragic existences and I was sad for every single one of them. I'd be a cartoon fanatic also if I had to endure for just one day the crap that goes on in their lives! I feel pain for everyone and I just couldn't express myself enough. Alexis: WOW! Poor girl has had such a traumatic life from the start (Whoa...dead? Zombie? Heavy!!) It made me smile that she recognized the love in Uriah and they are going through the changes she is experiencing together! I love, love, love their relationship though I wish it were Jared. I'm glad she was on the mend with Matthew and her powers are pretty scary how they randomly occur! But she is strong and will endure. I was happy she got the chance to see and talk to her mom again. That she had that weight lifted off her shoulders; closure is always a good thing! She's bold and I love it! Uriah: Sensitive and loving Angel with a sailors' mouth and champion fighter's heart! I love seeing his attitude change! He is VERY protective of Alexis and rightfully so! I am head over heels in love with his character. He makes me smile every time he takes a punch from Jared or attacks someone on her behalf. He slips so easily into role of the protector then loving boyfriend to her. I'm glad he was able to fight through all the angst he was feeling and the harsh and unknown future he would have with a mortal, I am THRILLED I tell ya! I can't wait to see more here. Jared: YUM! Wait I mean HUBBA HUBBA...no...YEOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's it! Hot, dark, yummy and loving it just adds to my WOOHOO factor that he's also a vampire. He has such love for Alexis and it broke my heart that conversation in the car when he was talking about how he carried that flame for 3 years and she never reciprocated BUT dragged him along by the short hairs. I loved that they were able to heal their friendship though and get back into that playful little thing they have. It makes me smile when I see him Ivan: Such a battle to face the life as a vampire, he is always brooding and saddens me the amount of sorrow in his world. It killed me reading his GF died AGAIN! But that story that chapter was absolutely remarkable and just made me want to hug him. I felt soooo bad for him. He bypassed killing Creepy ass Xaphan just for another shot at his love and she came back as a zombie and it just...wow! AND PLEASE come play the piano for me! /swoon! Seriously! Breanna: Like a loving big sister (relating her to Krimsyn here) I can't get enough of her! Sad she's never experienced love and the way she died I hope was painless. I'm glad she became a whitelighter, though she does need to get those emotions in her favor instead of being so cold. I did see her start to loosen up which is great! I can also see how much she absolutely loves Uriah and wants to protect him! They have some pretty interesting conversations and I love the mind battles they have and how he calls to her unspoken and she comes running! I love the developing friendship between Alexis and her! I love that she was able to open up and show she does have emotions. She is a great friend and it amazes me the amount of depth she really has (even with that "personal space" peeve lol). Arianna: I don't know what to say about this one. She is so lost it kills me. I really can feel her pain as she attempts to hold on to a life she lost long ago and a humanity she will never again feel! I think she is perfectly matched with Ralph though the way she went about things with Jared only makes me want to slap her. I love Ralph, silent, strong and dark (luscious!) But I like that she found Ralph and that he is the one that brings her out of that shell. Though I know she'll always want to have a shred of humanity, she needs to realize that's what her love is.(the thing with Riley pissed me off though) Ralph: He was mistreated by Ari and I thought for a moment he was about to really take it there with Dru, I think I would have liked that to be honest. She seems vacant and he often is searching as well. I like his support for Ivan even at times when he knows the man is completely mental! his love for Ari is very strong and I like that he continued to push and try even though she kept distancing herself with those unspoken words. He truly showed the man he was, loving and patient. He's a great friend and I want him to be happy. Matthew: I can understand him keeping the secret from Alexis I really do and I can appreciate that about him alot! He really did mean well and knew what the future would bring for her had she been exposed to this life he kept her from. I knew he had a secret and the mention of a 3rd whitelighter made me think ok it's him but then the way he reacted to her dreams made me say ok it wasn't but let me say I was happy it was. And the secrets that revealed with that revelation were AWESOME! (I loved the fire scenes...omg she almost fried his ass lol) Becky: I love Grams!!! I don't know what else to say except I am happy she is back in her life and helping her with all she's going through! I want her to bake for me and listen to my problems I know I promised you a book and I think I will expand on all of this later but the three hours of sleep I had did not do me justice as it usually does and my brain isn't functioning correctly. And surprise, surprise, I'm not about to sleep now either. I have 2 chapters left and I wanted to try and finish them by weekend end hmm that sounds weird. I am of course addicted...thanks a lot <---yes that's sarcasm. BUT that means you get DOUBLY harassed! Now feed me my Krisis!!!!! YEAH RIGHT! Now time for some threatening: I can't wait for the next update <---not that bad...yet! (plus I'm just coming off of 5-6hrs of reading through all 49 chapters) P.S. You really love redheads huh? P.S.S. That blogger really plays with my eyes...I think it hurt more because I they were already shot but the small then large text was brutal!

Jo, I understand about not remembering names. Yeah, the cousins are on their way to a good place. LOL, he sure doesn't look like a grandpa. Thanks for reading.
Jill, I'm with you, she'd better be convincing, her life depends on it. She does have a lot of explaining to do. Xaphan will know for sure she was up to something, so it's up to the Whitelighters and her to coach her to be creative. She'll rely on whatever cue they give her. But you're so right, it will be hard not to think about her lies. Hard, not impossible, she just has to want it hard enough. OMG, it's like you are seriously reading my mind on Dru. She won't die, but something very close to what you mentioned is possible. But that's only like Ch 55 or so. Still thinking how to post that, because with that chapter starts a new story arc that can stand alone as a companion piece to Fallen, just like with Ch.50, but having too many blogs is making me a little weary. Sorry, I just rambled there for a sec. But Dru will know she has options. And that's all I'll say on that Yes, Alexis is overwhelmed by everything going on. I'm surprised she didn't fall apart sooner. She's been a real trooper, but finding out Xaphan has an interest in the war, and her role in it, has shaken her quite a bit. So far all their assumptions, including Dru's were that Xaphan's fixated on her because she looks like Riley, but now it seems his reasons for wanting Alexis are much more bigger than a trivial crush and Dru will have to go back and re-look everything Xaphan's asked her to do where Alexis is concerned, especially about looking into her past, what's in Alexis' past that will make her appealing to the other side in Limbo...again, lost my train of thought. LOL. Love your winded comment:) But yes, you've pretty much summed everything that could have caused Alexis to pass out. I thought you'd be calling for Uriah's head, for beating down on a female like that! But I'm glad you liked it. It was about time he brought it out again. He was starting to get soft. Rolene knew it's a family matter and she gave them that space, Raven is not in immediate danger, in the company of the other Whitelighters and she'd call her if she runs into trouble. She doesn't have to spend every waking moment with her ward. Yes, you're right, there is a rule like that, just like there's a rule that says they can't kill and one that says they can't be involved with their wards. But what fun are rules if they can't be broken? LOL. Agreed, TEAM BECKY! DJ, ...LOL... So you're finally caught up! I am beyond thrilled. I appreciate that! And please ask Jason to give you a massage Alexis is a level headed girl, it's not in her nature to hold grudges and be vindictive. And she knows it's not Dru's fault, it could have gone either way since these things depend on fate. Love Grams too. She's too awesome, Alexis will be sad when she goes back to Belladonna Cove. LOL. That's exactly what does, he takes action NOW and asks LATER. That's his twin flame, so no one messes with her and gets away with it. LOL. Again, thanks for going on 2.5 hours sleep. DJ again, ;D LOL, I think that's a good thing, not having a "book feel"I saw that, and thanks. It was great for me to go back and take a look at the past chapters, cringe-worthy as they all are. And I'm shocked you did it in 5 hours. That's a LOT of reading, and thank you for getting all caught up! The summaries, I spammed a lot of people with PMs, people who were having hard time catching up and other who hinted they were thinking of reading Fallen, so yeah, but you were the biggest motivator for those summaries, and I'm glad I did them, that way I don't have to feel bad about not going back to make things easier for readers. Just have to summarize Ch. 49 now, that's all I just didn't say anything. I was enjoying Desired too much to notice any similarities. LOL. Just kidding, but when I read someone's story I don't like plugging my own, it's not good etiquette, I think. I think it's a bit of both same brain and source. I wish my spells were as detailed as yours. I suck when it comes to wording spells, so I just explain briefly what a spell does, and move on *slaps forehead* Looking forward to seeing the angels in Desired. Depth? History? Really? Thank you, sometimes those lores and myths confuse me, I hope they weren't too confusing for you LOL Yeah, I saw that Xaphan and Karver. Both devils in sexy suits Ivan and Jared make a pair, I don't know about taking them both, Qui will beat you hands down for Ivan, and I think Jill expressed a liking for Jared, or was it Holley? Wonder! But I'm glad you love them so! Now on to the story: Yep, the whole point of Fallen I suppose is the tragedy of being a Fallen being, or an undead. Being immortal isn't as glamorous as everyone makes it out to be. Some have had tragic experiences, and some will still go through tragedy, but there are happy characters, and they bring the "normalcy" to Fallen. Alexis has had quite a roller coaster life, and I'm also glad it's calming down, she's coming to her powers and her life is starting to make sense. She's really a witch-Whitelighter. When she was brought back, her first death no longer counts, and her body had not started the decomposition and decaying, so she's far from being a zombie. Her power is triggered by extreme emotions in her, and luckily for her and everyone around her, she's pretty much level headed, so she won't be going atomic on everyone. Yes, meeting her mom was pivotal, she got the closure she needed, finally. Now her real work can begin. Uriah, the man of my dreams. What can I say. He's an angel through and through but having lived so long has somehow made him a little rough around edges, hence his foul mouth. LOL. But he's def Alexi's warrior. He'll kill for her, though as an angel he's absolutely forbidden to kill, but for Alexis he will, without thinking twice, she's so much more than just his ward or girlfriend, they are one, she's literally his better half. Yeah, his depression was starting to wear Alexis down, and I'm also glad Brenna talked some sense into him. Jared, he's connection with Alexis runs very deeply. Maybe if Uriah never existed, he might have stood a chance. But he does love Alexis to death, maybe that will change, as Raven's convinced they belong together, or maybe it won't. Only time will tell about his feelings. That conversation in the car was painful but it had to be had, and without it they might never have been able mend their friendship. You have a mad crush on that boy. Ivan, he's one multi-layered character. I think a lot of people don't question why he feels so deeply or why he's always broody, as an empath his life is the hardest, being constantly bombarded with everyone's thoughts and emotions is emotionally draining, and he made it worse by falling for a human. Now that he's gotten his closure, he's well on his way to being the Ivan everyone hasn't seen before, and assume his role as the leader of the clan. The piano got me too. I love that he loved playing Nadia's Theme for Riley. Brenna: Funny you should say that about her and Krimsyn, never considered it. But as a character she has so much more to offer. I just haven't found her voice yet. She does love Uriah to bits. She'd kill for both him and Alexis, no questions asked, and it has to do with what Uriah's parents did for her when she transitioned. She's deeply loyal. She's never really had friends, but she's slowly starting to open up and be normal. And in upcoming chapters you'll see her girly side. Wow you mention Ralph and you forget Dru? What's wrong with you! LOL. Just kidding. Ralph's connection to Arianna and hers to him transgresses any bond either has ever formed. Though he didn't sire her, but he found her just after she was turned and he practically looked after her. She's alive because of him. And Arianna does love him deeply but for as long as she can't let go of her past, they'll never be completely happy. Arianna needs that closure, and no amount of love can give that to her. Ralph is her first of many things, and it's hard to get over or forget the first. And he's deeply loyal to Ivan, but even his patience will wear thin. The next story arc, with the introduction of the two new characters I'm hoping to draw out more of the existing character' personalities, like Ralph and Arianna, as well as Brenna. Matthew: I'm so glad you read this now, otherwise you would have joined the "let's kill Matthew" team and the "what kind of a father does that?" team. But he did have good reasons. The first clue was in chapter one, Alexis said he always had "THE LOOK", the second was in Ch. 3 when Alexis mentioned the man in her dream, Matthew knew she was talking about Uriah, and she saw the brief look of recognition in his eyes when she told him who she met, the 3rd clue was when Uriah and Brenna came for a visit, Alexis thought he was downstairs and he'd get the door, but when went to answer it, he was no where to be found, he sneaked off when Brenna and Uriah showed up. I would have mentioned that before, but no one asked, and I figured it don't matter, they'll all know anyway. And oh, in Ch 2 Alexis mentions how he never ages, that was clue number 4, and clue number five was what Ivan and Ralph said about uncovering Whitelighters. But yeah, he did have good reason! It's his lies and deception that triggered Alexis' power, if Uriah and Brenna didn't get there when they did, she probably would have fried Matt and Becky, and then torch herself. Becky: Yeah, grams, she knows a lot about old magic, and Alexis will need her. Let's hope she doesn't become collateral damage in the coming war. This was a book, anything longer, I would have probably stayed here the whole night. LOL @ doubly harassed. P.S. Yes, I really love redheads, on both male and females. Uriah actually inspired the creation of Krisis. I was messing around in TS3, trying to recreate Alexis and Uriah when voila, Leigh and Krisis were born!

I love the way Uriah immediately went after Dru to protect Alexis. It was a good thing Raven got there or who knows if Dru would have done what X wanted. I know we talked about Dru a bit and you don't agree, but i feel so bad for her. She just wants peace and no matter how much she fights she keeps getting sucked towards the dark. Uriah is right, when she's around there is trouble. I thought something naughty was coming, but I'll be more patient. Oh! Someone needs to slap Thatch smirk off of Rolene's face!

Holley, You love pittbull Uriah, eh? LOL.
Exactly, that will always be the question, would she have tricked Alexis, or would she have told the truth, but either way, her good side won, yet again, and she makes me proud everytime she says no to Xaphan, whether by choice or circumstances.
Holley, I do feel for Dru, but like I said, compared to Ivan, her life seems so much better, she continously makes choices that push her to being good, and I can't feel sorry for that. To put it simply, I don't pity her, I'm proud of her, proud that she constantly chooses to do the right thing, not many people would when faced with the circumstances she's faced with. Most would choose the easy way out, which would be accepting evil, but she's constantly fighting against it, and she makes me proud. Hope this is much clearer than my previous statements on my position on Dru? And agreed, Uriah has every reason to be mad, trouble does seem to follow Dru, and that's Xaphan again, he's there to cause chaos in her life, taint it with more evil, as if she hasn't had a raw deal.
The something naughty will come in 53 or 54. I had to reshuffle the chapters since I'm introducing two new characters.
LOL @ smacking Rolene, Alexis could kiss you right now for saying that. Thanks for reading.

Val! Sorry for the late reply, birthday update, and all that. Aw, Uriah beng all heroic and protecting Alexis. He went a little far with Dru IMO, but I can see his point of view with the way she just seems to trail chaos. Well, I guess in Xaphan, she does. Good idea of Becky's to cloak the house, she's so calm and practical, I love that you could see her thinking it over in-shot while the others were discussing and trying to prize the information from Dru. Ooh, interesting with Alexis passing out, what could that mean? I wonder if she did see anything? Also, I haven't voted on the poll because my reasons are a bit more complicated. I don't mind the naughty, sometimes in characters' relationships it's necessary to move things along in plot, especially with Uriah and Alexis, but I only read those type of chapters at certain times of the day/week, etc, so it can cause me to fall behind on reading. Hope that makes sense? This chapter did make sense, and it was good that it was short; in an action filled, dramatic scene like that, everything will have happened fast and been got over quickly, so it suited the situation. Can't wait for the new characters and next chapters, Val!
