Amy
*faints* LOL.
*faints* LOL.
I know, I have no idea also how to respond. But first, this made me so, so happy to know you're still enjoying Fallen after so many chapters.
And seriously, no worries. I understand that we all get busy and we can't keep up with updates. I don't hold it against you.
Nadia's theme? I'm glad you liked it so much you added it on your MP3 player. I loved it from Young and the Restless, and when I created Riley and Ivan's characters I thought it would be perfect for them.
Those two, Ivan and Riley, would have been so good together if fate was on their side. Not sure if you read Arianna's meme but one of the ten things about her is that she's technologically challenged, so firing up her laptop and accessing Google was a huge step for her. Aw, sorry the last few chapters were heart wrenching, but there was no other way to wrap up their storyline. Thank you, it makes me happy to know it roused emotions in you.
You're right with Alexis and Uriah, it isn't so clear cut, I also see both their sides. It will always be a central question with their relationship, how much can he dump on her, and how much is too much. But honesty has always proven to be the best policy and Uriah learned that lesson the hard way.
LOL @ *nods sagely* so you reckon he should just risk Matthew's anger. LMAO!
Alexis and Jared will always share a strong bond, and maybe Jared will never get over her, but he does need to move on and find someone who will make him as happy as Uriah makes Alexis. And if Raven's predictions are right, she'll soon be fixing his broken heart.
Really? Thank you. Holley liked those shots too, and they are all in game features. That scene was full of devastation, so many dreams and hopes squashed, and emotions were running high, but I'm glad everyone aired their issues and everyone finally knows where they stand, especially Alexis and Jared, they are not the same people they were before, they're slowly changing and growing up and that's bound to change their relationship.
That was my first real attempt at photoshopping images. Andrea doesn't pull any punches, and she was right in telling him the shocking truth everyone had been avoiding. I guess because she was neutral, her objectivity got through to him.
The three cousins foreshadow the power of three, most magical spells need the power of 3 to work, so bringing her cousins will complete the triad and they'll start their own sisterhood. But that's if I take Fallen that far. Let's just get through the war first But that's the reason Drucilla and Raven are in the story and I thought it best to introduce them early on instead of throwing them in as part of the action in Part 2 of Fallen, post college. Again, that's if I write that far, and if there's still readership.
Yeah, their powers are from different pools and they don't necessarily complement each other, but for the war they work perfectly with Raven able to see the future, and Drucilla seeing the past. It will take them a while, but all three will grow inseparable.
The war is scary, and I'm still working out the lore surrounding it. As soon as I have that down, we're all going to war
Matthew will never be happy with the way things unfolded, especially Alexis agreeing to take on such a huge responsibility. It's understandable since she's his daughter, but if it was any other person he'd understand the Guardians' reasons for the war and for "sacrificing" witch-whitelighers to save the realm.
Rolene's def Uriah's type. It's Alexis who isn't his type, and that's why Brenna's so puzzled about is feelings for her, and the Guardians are worried about his strong connection to Alexis. But you're right, she is an interesting one. I like your thinking, maybe next time when she acts all cattish, Alexis will torch her.
No ways, Xaphan going away quietly, I think a lot of people knew that! Drucilla's situation doesn't have to be so complicated and heartbreaking, she just has to accept who she is and embrace her dark nature and all will be well. But the "good" in her won't help, and Xaphan and the forces of darkness are at loggerheads with her good side. The simplest way to look at it I guess would be to say good and evil are battling for her soul, and she should just give in to evil to make her life easier since it's her birthright. So with her, I don't really feel so bad. She chooses to be in this situation by constantly fighting off her true nature. Ivan, on the other hand, circumstances put him where he is. But he'll soon have his ray of sunshine when he meets the person he can be at peace with.
I'm happy you've finally caught up. And yes, I think they are at a good place now, and it should help with how they deal with the war.
Again, a huge, huge thank you for this. This was a quick recap for me too, looking back at past chapters.
