They're going to "try" to be friends. Ha! That should be interesting! So how will she and Uriah be? Will she allow him to have that overdue date with her friend? Being mad at him I can see her pretending to not care until she sees her friend too close, enjoying his company a little too much!
I hope Dru finds a way out of it! I personally would endure his torture rather than bring it upon Alexis!

I was happy to see an update today! Poor Ivan. I really hope he doesn't do anything...drastic, like try to end his exsistence because he thinks he can't live without Riley.
I worry about Drusilla. X must have done some number on her when she thinks she has to betray her new friends and cousins to get her freedom. She should turn to them for help instead. Don't keep us waiting long for the next update Val! |

I'm with Holley - I wish Dru would play along with Xaphan, but ask her cousins for help instead of lying to them. That's what happens when a monster like that gets into your head and wears you down. She's tried to outrun him so many times and he's always found her. She must feel so defeated.
Alexis still seems a little ticked with Uriah, but at least she has Brenna being friendly now, and Grandma Becky is there for her, too. I wonder what they have to "talk" about? I know I can't wait to find out! Lol!

LOL @ Qui and the "yet another sexy suit" Yep, he sure knows how to pick them. And the weird part is Xaphan isn't an overly sexual being. He's not into women, and the few that he is into, Alexis and Riley, he wants to keep for life. He's a commitment kind of guy  Weird, I know. Guess he loves to look good. Yeah, I wonder how that will turn out between Alexis and Brenna. I guess they'll hang out more often. Mhh, the coffee date, it's like you are in my head or something. The next chapter deals with that, sort of. But there will be no coffee dates, not if Alexis can help it. Xaphan must have promised her something phenomenal to make Drucilla want to betray her cousin. Either way, Dru really didn't have much of a choice. It wasn't a request. Either she does what he asks, or she'll feel his full wrath. He did say death would be too easy for her. Thanks. Holley, I love, love, love you new avatar. I want one too. Ivan wouldn't end his life, but Riley's death will bring out the Vampire in him. His wild nature has been dormant for too long, and his grief may very well be the key that unlocks his true form.
Definitely. X did do a number on her. But there's a lot he didn't anticipate for. It might not turn out so horribly for her.
Nah, the next four chapters are written, I just need to take the shots. So you might get a daily update this week. Jill, Dru knows she can never possibly outrun Xaphan, but she doesn't stop trying. And you're right, she's tired, his constant presence in her life weighs her down. This would all be so simple if she'd chosen Darkness, and she wouldn't be so conflicted, and that's the point Xaphan keeps trying to make. Sooner or later she will give in to the darkness. It's who she is...How much longer can she really keep fighting him?
Alexis is still very much angry with Uriah. It will take a whole lot more than "I'm sorry" on his part to win her over.
Nothing serious really between Becky and Alexis. Just witch stuff, and getting her ready for her initiation. |

Hey guys, I feel a little better today Still bluish, but I'm getting there. And thanks so much for your encouraging words Jill and Qui  Friday Bonus Thirty FiveI'm really trying to move the storyline along. But if you guys feel I'm moving too fast or the updates are too often, please let me know. The last thing I want to do is giving you all Fallen overload. Edit:The poll has officially closed. and the winner is *drum roll* Arianna with 5 votes Alexis with 3 votes followed closely And Dru came out 3rd with Two votes. I guess their interviews will be done in that order. But I'm thinking of putting Ivan or Ralph on the chair right after Arianna. What do you all think? So start thinking about questions for Arianna I think you guys did post questions for Arianna but I just can't find them now. So please, if you have any, let me know, I'm working on her interview on The Chair, hopefully I'll post it with the next update |

*Squee*  I am glad Alexis got to be a regular young adult for a night with her friends. I'm sure very soon she will be asked to give up such things in the upcoming war.
I love Kim's curiosity and simple acceptance of the fact that Alexis is a witch. She's a true friend. I also see Jessica is as annoying as ever. I sense she's going to be some truoble with concern to Uriah. At least Alexis knows he loves her.
Those are some fancy underwear Alexis was wearing! LOL!
Poor Uriah, going to the trouble to make that dinner. Only to have his date pass out on him. It was good to see them again Freedom. I hope another update is in the works soon. |

Holley, yeah, she needed that, some downtime with her friends. Soon she has to go to witch boot-camp to start preparing for the war. Kim's always the curious, free spirit one, she's the one who suggested they take Alexis to the fortune teller for her birthday. She already has a fascination with all things paranormal, she even hinted Nancy was killed by a vampire, and Jared might be one too, so finding out Alexis is a witch, is small smacks for her. LOL @ your comment on Jessica. She'll never change. Alexis may have dodged their conversation this time but soon she'll have to come clean with Jessica or risk losing her friendship. I know, I could just slap myself. I only realized when I was shooting that scene that that's the only pair of underwear she had and her PJs are some ghastly EA creation, so I went with the sexy underwear. It gave Uriah a lot to think about. Uriah, he deserved it IMO. That's what he gets for not giving her enough time to cool off Thanks, and yes, the next chapter is done, I just need to put it up on here. |

Wonderful seeing her with her friends and enjoying herself. I am surprised she just let her friend climb all over Uriah like that but then again when you have liquid courage in your system, you don't care about a damn thing!
Awww he did all of that and she was too drunk to enjoy it! Well maybe breakfast?
I feel a little bad for him because you can really tell how much he loves her but at the same time that love is keeping him in the doghouse. He loves her so much that he feels he shelters her from the truth until the time is right but forgets the small fact that when other's know this truth and it ends up hurting more than helping.
I also feel bad for him because he keeps seeing her in such cute bra and pantie sets and can't touch!

No Way I knew you'd complain She's drunk out of her head, and she knows Uriah loves her, so she's quite secure in that department, and she didn't want to cause a scene and get into a confrontation she's not ready to have yet with Jessica. Yeah, are you channeling Uriah now? LOL. Maybe breakfast will go better. He does love her, maybe a bit too much, but I think it's more his choices that are keeping him in the doghouse. If he'd taken care of his business when he had a chance, he wouldn't be in the doghouse now. LMAO yeah, it's gotta hurt in other places, just looking and not touching. That too is his own doing. He should stop being a gentleman, and take what he wants. I know Jared would! He's not the gentlemanly sort. I'm glad |

Val, not sure if you saw my post in the Coffee House to you, but I am reading Fallen. I didn't want to keep bumping the thread every time I finished a chapter, so I'm saving the massive comment in Word to copy and paste when I'm caught up. I'm on chapter 41 at the moment, so I'll keep you posted. Just wanted to let you know I'm reading and I'm loving the story. |

I was so happy to see Alexis act her age after all the serious stuff that's been laid on her! You go, girl!!! She really needed that girls night - not just to de-stress & blow off steam, but to remember what she'll be fighting for.
I thought she'd be all drunk and disorderly once Uriah got her in bed - with her looking that good, he wouldn't be able to wear that chastity belt another second! Lol!
I felt so bad for him - he's really taking it hard, but he definitely made that bed. I think he got his wake up call. Alexis may be young in years, but she's got a huge responsibility on her shoulders, and she deserves his respect and honesty. His keeping things from her has to make her feel that, although he loves her, she doesn't get the respect she deserves. That has to cut deep, and he needed to be called on it.
