And a comment on Ch.48 about the age difference between Uriah and Alexis made me want to clear that up, you may all have had concerns, but didn't raise them, so here's my official response on the age difference.

The age difference is huge, I won't argue that, but technically Uriah is 25 and I explained this in Ch.39...

But to quickly recap, when Uriah took on his Whitelighter duties he was 25 and he drank the 'Elixir of Life', which stopped him from aging, keeping him "immortal" and young forever.

The age in his case is really a number, but him being from a different realm makes him wiser in different ways, the knowledge he has, most 25 year olds don't have, and the things he's seen and gone through as a Whitelighter have aged him to a certain extent.

The 'age number' itself though does bother him, and that's why he was hesitant about getting involved with Alexis from the start, and it bothered Matthew too (also in Ch.39 & I think chapter 14 or 15, when he worried Uriah will imprint on his daughter, just before they told Alexis the whole truth).

In Ch. 32 Uriah's conflicting feelings, forced him to stay away and cut all ties with her, but being twin flames he soon learned it's virtually impossible.

It's something he has to work out and overcome on his own, since Alexis isn't bothered by it. And Alexis wasn't really surprised by his age because from her conversation with her father (also in Ch.39) she picked up from Matthew's reaction that Uriah was far, far older than her in Whitelighter years. If he was human, he'd be 25 and the age difference wouldn't be so bad. But then again Alexis isn't human herself, so age in their realm has a different meaning from age in the "normal/human" realm.

I hope this cleared up the age issue.

A huge sigh of relief! I am beyond happy that Raven got to them first! Xaphan thinks he is so slick but I guess he knows nothing about Raven! Good for him! Let his evil ass stay in the dark about their future painting cousin!
Uriah really went into attack mode! Is that whats cause Alexis to black out? Seeing him attack her cousin that way?
Dru is such a pretty girl! Every shot with her in it, I went back just to look at her face. I'm glad she spoke as soon as she could! I don't know if that was to protect Alexis or because the cloak was there but I'm glad she did it!

This wasn't as short as you think. Beautiful everything! *rubs hands* Long chapter...YES!
