;D Val, I thought you were going to have a break? Not to say I did not enjoy it, because I did!  ~Now you will have to keep going, because I am more drawn into the story, I noticed the Grandmother was a 'good' Witch, so I would say that has to do with the cliffhanger!Loved it, BTW, Val!   |

@tina, oops, I didn't know about the story alert thing. Now I know, I'll remember for next time ;D @karima I was planning on taking a break but when I suddenly found myself with so much time over the weekend I just couldn't resist putting up the first chapter :-)
You're always the observant one ;D what clif hanger? Just kidding. But don't expect the next chapter to clear up the bit with the fortune teller.That only comes much later. Thanks guys for reading. |

I'm just giddy! This has all the earmarks of my favorite things - magic, mytholoygy, other realms...I just can't wait!
Is this a new direction for you, or have you written things like this before?

I'm just giddy! This has all the earmarks of my favorite things - magic, mytholoygy, other realms...I just can't wait! Is this a new direction for you, or have you written things like this before? This is totally new, unchartered territory for me and it's scary. I've never written anything like it before. Look at Unforgettable, need I say more? And Holley, LOL I know what you mean about the marks on the grandma's face. I only discovered that hack to get rid of the funny skin a bit late  |

Awesome stuff, Val! I meant to comment on this yesterday, but I had a lot going on with my doc appointment and all.  Right now, I am commenting just by my proof reading. I'll try to get to your site and make a comment later today. Now I have to get ready to go run some errands when all I really want to do is stay here like the recluse I am...LOL! Anyhow, I'm really liking this story... a lot! It's my kind of mysterious tale and I think that, so far, you are doing a brilliant job with it! ;D I'm sure you will do fine, even though it's a new genre for you, if the story is in your head. I can't wait to see more! |
