Poor Tina! I think they should give you an honorary MD for all the time you spend in a dr's office!

Thanks Lily! *hugs* Yea, the doc is nice. I've been seeing him since 2001, but I'm certainly glad it wasn't me in the examining chair.

Thanks Haily! Well, I went to the dentist this morning for a cleaning. I woke up late and had to rush to get ready. Soon, I have to leave to go take my mother to ANOTHER doctor's appointment! *sigh* I just thought I'd throw that out there in case anyone wonders why I am not here between 3:45pm and.... whenever.

Haily ((hugs)) hope you feel better. Seems there are an huge amount of girls with bad girl issues. Have you seen a DR? I don't know if it would help or not, and they are kind of expensive...but the health food type shops/vitamin section you can try some things like B complex, evening primrose oil capsuals and especially formulated soya bean type tablets. Don't be scared away with labels such as "menopause relief" The soyabean ones help the body make more estragin.(sp?) I don't know if they help cramps but I do know they help headaches.

Thanks Jo for the advice! Anyway....doctors may have scary tools.it doesn't mean they are scary people.I think that's why some people are scared of doctors.Because of the tools they use....

That may be partially it, but I think lots of folks don't like doctors because they just don't like being poked and prodded. Also, lots of folks are afraid of what they may find out when going to a doctor. People hide their heads in the sand and don't want to know if they have something seriously wrong with them.
I am just glad I had no doctor's appointments to go to today. Thursday, I have to take my mom for a CT scan to see what's wrong with her ear.

And some of us don't like Dr because they know zip but act like they're all that! I still go see them, but I don't trust regular GP's to know a darn thing. Unless you are going in for something that 90% of their other patients have. When I was 12 it took 6 Dr's to diagnose my anemia. A simple case of my medication robbing the body of folic acid. And guess what it wasn't the GP but the shrink! that diagnosed it. The shrink that the fifth Dr seemed to think I needed because "It's all in her head"!

That's exactly it. When I mentioned my condition to my Dr he looked blank. I was thinking *Hello it's in my notes..I was recently diagnosed...shouldn't you have least read up on it a little!* I know it's not a common condition but it may be important to symptoms I show in the future. The only one I trust is my specialist. At least I can tell she is honest and you can tell she is trying and shows interest. I don't get waved away with "Oh that's nothing"

Oh, some of these doctors really suck. Most of mine couldn't give one wit about me or my problems. They certainly aren't doing a heck of a lot for me.
