My mom thought I do. It's because I have a mole on my back and it's getting bigger.Mom says that it's a sign of skin cancer.I'm scared to death!

Awwww -Huggles- It'll be okay! At least you are going to the doc' so that you can have it checked out. That's the responsible thing to do. I'm sure it's nothing though

That's what i'm thinking.I just thought it's some kind of weird birthmark. Oh well. i'll survive for if i don't go to the docs then i probably won't!

If you catch it quickly, you'll be able to treat it.

The BEST thing to do is get yourself to the doctor. Skin cancer is usually never a big deal if it's caught early because it's easily removed from the skin. Waiting until it goes further, though, is a VBT!

It doesn't matter if you've had it there since you were born. Your body changes as you age and other things are factored in like sun damage, etc. Anytime a mole is growing or changing colors or shape, it's a good idea to have it checked. Being to afraid or stubborn to do so can lead to serious problems if something besides normal growth and changes is ocurring.

I don't know yet, Holley. I've only had two shots. I had a wasted doctor's appointment last week because he said he didn't need to see me until I've had at least three shots. Those idiots are the ones who made the appointment and I'M supposed to know that?

i just had my last shot last week. it wasn't painful cause it was my second chicken pox shot

I didn't get the chance.All that they did was take me in,no check ups or anything,gave me the shot, and shooed me out like a fly on the wall.I was going to say something about it but they didn't even ask me any questions!

Well you or your mum probably need to make an appt especially saying the mole check is what you came in for. Quite often if you have a couple of things they only look at one.
