I had one Gp in the last town we lived in (So like 15 years ago now) increase my medication dose. Go to my specialist whose eyes kind of pop and I discover I have been taking a dose high enough to give me a toxic liver. Oh yeah I have so much faith in GP's. NOT. Lucky for me the liver is one organ that regrows and repairs itself. Well normally they do. I was given the all clear a few years later.

Yea, sometimes they don't anything... I had a stupid dentist prescribe me a painkiller that interacts badly with meds I was already taking. He knew about them too! Hey Jo, I'm waiting on more input on the suggestion you made...lol Go have a look-see.

Who watched the Today show? Not me. I used to watch the one on CBS, but I haven't even watched that one lately. I'm always on the computer at the time of the morning.

what are we talking about?...oh yeah, doctors. When i was four years old,my chest hurt a lot. my mother got scared because my Aunt died of heart problems and she was 22.but she didn't do anything about it,plus she did drugs and smoking and partying and things that don't take good care of your heart.Well, anyway,my mom took me to the doctor. The doctor didn't put the x-ray on me yet.So they put me on this table, stuck a lot of these little suction cups on me and ran a machine that the suction cups were conected to.It was really cool because when the results came out,you could see how your heart beat is.My heart beat was a little off,but not as bad as it could of been. They told my mom to go to...i forgot what they call them, but they told her to go to this person that could have better reasonings than the doctors could. My mother agreed but she was going to go when she got the money.she never got the money. The present day at least two months ago our P.E. teacher told us to run.I hate running but i did it anyway.Well,I ran non-stop at least...23 laps. After i was done,i felt light headed and i felt like i was going to faint.I also felt like i need to vomit.I told my mom this and she feels like that(only worse) when she's having an attack.that's why i'm scared because i might have a heart problem.it's just the doctors don't listen to me anymore.Every now and then i would get cramps in my chest but then they would fade like they weren't even there the human body is so confusing but you have to take care of it constantly.i mean,my mother is still alive because she goes to the doctor for help,my aunt didn't.The doctors said one pill would of saved my aunts life but she never went to the doctor . So,i'm not too scared if i do have the heart problem, because the doctors know how to treat it.i just don't like taking medication, even at my age because it makes me feel...unhealthy,

Wow, what a story Haily. Sorry to hear all that bad stuff, but I'm glad that it can be taken care of. And yeah... taking meds does suck.

Yay, I didn't have to go because Harley took her this morning! ;D He was up, but didn't wake me up early enough. I would have had to rush and skip my second cup of coffee in order to get her there on time, so he's doing it for me. My mom has this horrible ear infection that is not going away. She had a CT scan last week, so today she will find out the results of that. As stubborn as this infection is being, she may end up having to have surgery on it.

Well, surgery, it is! She goes into the hospital as an outpatient on Thursday morning. Hopefully she'll remain an outpatient and they don't end up keeping her overnight for observation. The infection has gotten into the bone, so the doctor needs to go in and clean it out. If left alone, it could go into her brain or bloodstream and spread thoughout her body. Hopefully the surgery will fix it and she'll be as good as new for a 72 year old woman.
