Hey Jo.... I don't seem to be having any ill side effects so far, thanks. Actually I don't get a second dose until two weeks from yesterday. It's a once-every-two-week injection. Stuff must stay in and roam around your system for a while. I'm glad though because I'd hate to have to inject myself several times a day. *cringe* lol |

I don't get the shot in my fingers. I have to inject either in my belly, or my thighs. I chose thighs..lol. I really didn't like the idea of getting a shot in the tummy.  |

Ouch! I don't know Tina..isn't the thigh more sensitive? Sounds nastily weird anyway. I mean whats wrong with using an arm.

You got that right, Sarie! No way, Jilly! My thighs are tougher than my belly. Wearting shorts, etc in the summer leaves the thighs exposed more to the elements, so they toughen up. I can't even imagine sticking a needle into my delicate tummy. *cringe* lol I was really worried about that until I found out I could do it in the thigh. As far as doing in the arm goes, I think this medicine has to go into a more meaty area or something. Or it could be because it to would be more difficult to inject yourself in the arm. Whatever the reason, your arm isn't an option. |

Okay... when I am not going to the doctor myself, I am taking my mom to the doctor.  I have to interrupt my story-writing frenzy to take my mom to the doctor for a 2:00pm appointment. Ugh! Will it never end?  |

Well, I'm off again this morning to take my mom to yet another doctor's appointment! lol Just thought I'd toss that out there for y'all. Tomorrow afternoon, I have another doctor's appointment. It's starting to feel like the only time I leave the house is for doctor's appointments and grocery shopping! |

Random note: I had steroid shots in my arse at the end of my first pregnancy. Man I cried like a baby. Anyplace else and I would have been fine.
