Nope. The WHOLE point is that if they can afford to give me a discount for paying right this minute, why can't they afford the discount if I make it in two or three payments? It's a rip off, I tell you! Highway robbery! It's a whole load of crap!

The whole health care system over here in the US is ludicrous. The costs are ridiculous and inflated, you get crappy treatment if you don't have health insurance. *sigh* It's ONE of the things our new president is promising to 'fix'. We shall see... If he fixes enough to suit me, I'll lick his boots! The whole thing is just frustrating and ridiculous.

Health is one thing I think we do better. Medicare is for everyone. A lot of Dr do bulk billing, and if not the medicare card gets you more then 3/4 off a regular Dr viset. Then our privet health cover which is $280 a month so not cheap, covered us entirly for my recent test. I went to a privet hospital as a privet patient. We often have to pay upfront then get our money back in a few days, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind us going to the bank if we needed to.

It sure is horrible, Holley. Hey, thanks for asking, but... it isn't going yet. I have to wait and go to an appointment for them to show me how to use it since it's an injection. But first, the idiots are going to make me take a TB test... I just had one a tad over a year ago when they put me on the Methotrexate, but... they are making me take another. This all happening next week, I think. Harley made the appointments so I need to check the calender to make sure.

TB test Is that common where you live? I don't think I have ever had a TB test before.

No, but it's necessary when you go on certain drugs. Humira is very dangerous if you have or have had TB, so it's just a routine thing to make certain you're in the clear. They have to cover their tails, you know.
