OOoohhh!!! Homicide! There's NO WAY I could leave that file alone now! I wonder if she's going to sneak another peak at that file, or just come out and ask Hartman...
Vile little Gabby - I hope Abby brought some Holy Water and a Crucifix with her to that house! Lol!
LOL @ holy water! Abby is torn about whether or not to ask Hartman because she doesn't want to make it seem like she is not trustworthy, but she will get her answers very soon. Some of them anyway.
Val: I am hoping to have it updated by Monday as I am still working on the last three prompts for The Lost Gardens, weekends are usually hard for me to do anything because I am so busy!

The plot thickens! I wonder...could her parents have been some kind of secret agents in connection with Hartman? I am so curious to find out what's in those documents and even more how she handles being in the presence of Hartman now that she has that uneasy feeling.I wish this was a book so I could keep reading it right now!

Wow, she certainly looks sophisticated, but I liked her "‘just rolled out of bed look’". LOL. Okay, so she's not as poor and bereft as she thought she was. That's a start, maybe now she can get her own place and go back to school, unless of course, something or someone *cough* Detective Hartman, *cough* will make her want to stay. Just saying, that's all. Those documents sound ominous. I have a feeling she won't listen to her parents, not after the many questions she had before she found the documents. Somehow I think Hartman will not see those documents until she's gone through them first. For her sake I hope she doesn't. There's a reason her parents asked her not to look at them

Qui:No, her parents weren't secret agents, but that would have been a fun little twist to weave into the story! Val:Going back to school would probably be number 1 on Abby's list...but after meeting little Gabby she wouldn't leave a child behind that is so desperately calling out for help. Will she read them or won't she...if you were placed in that situation with the temptation of some sort of explanation to your parents death would you look? Thats like putting a piece of candy in front of a small child and telling them not to eat it before walking out of the room...9 times out of 10 they will eat it!.

if you were placed in that situation with the temptation of some sort of explanation to your parents death would you look? That's a good question! She can either read it and learn a truth that may be painful and hard to swallow or not read it and forever wonder what it was. I personally would seduce Hartman into tell me. Then again, that could backfire tremendously!

True, seducing Hartman is another possibility I didn't think about, probably because I'm sensing Gabby will not be pleased if anything does happen between her father and her nanny

She has to go to sleep and school sometimes! She doesn't want to go to boarding school so that's something Abby could use to her advantage!

LOL. True. Abby should slip some sleeping tablet in Gabby's milk just before she goes to bed just to make sure the little monster doesn't wake up till she's had her chance to work her moves on Hartman... Okay, maybe the sleeping tablet is a bit crazy, but something along those lines

HAHA you guys have some wild imaginations there. Abby really isn't the type of girl to seduce men, but I suppose it could work....
But on the other hand Gabby's father and the nanny...that could pose some problems for Gabby...big time.
As for boarding school, Abby won't threaten that to Gabby, but she will let Hartman if it gets to that point. So it is a great tool to keep her in line...temporarily...
LOL @ sleeping tablet in the milk...that sounds like a good idea yet so very wrong as well.

I saw this update and shouted "Yes yes Mother- yes!" Lol Abby is good at what she does! She regained the upper hand very easily! And...I don't blame her for the thoughts of Christopher Hartman! Him in the suit, MEOW!
They both had to brush off thoughts...INTERESTING! My mind is going crazy! Who'll fall first out of these two!

Abby refuses to let an eight year old run the house...after all she is being paid to take care of Gabrielle...not the other way around. She also refuses to let Gabrielle run her out of the house as she did so many other nannies. Hartman is a bit of a stud isn't he?
