I'd sure love to know what Hartman knows! Sounds like he has good reason to keep Abby close - I can't wait to find out who she's in danger from!

Yes ten nannies! Seems we have a problem child on our hands. And Abby isn't necessarily in danger...there are other reasons though that he wants to help Abby...  |

I'm glad Abby decided to stay. I think it's funny that she doesn't even realize that she's just as closed-off and rude as Gabrielle is. I think subconscously she sees a bit of herself in Gabrielle, and maybe that's just the thing that Gabrielle will need to open herself up to someone. I wonder what happened to her mom?
I wonder if that's what Hartman saw, too?
I can't believe she hasn't opened that letter yet - I think she must just be blocking out everything to do with her parent's death, letter included.

Yes Abby is closed off, and that is for the fact that she is hurting pretty badly right now...maybe she is acting like this on purpose? Maybe it is her plan to make it a starting point for Gabrielle to open up to her eventually? As for what happened to her parents we will find out shortly as Abby does some un-intended snooping and finds some more truth to things... As for the key and the letter, you're exactly right, she doesn't want to bother with them right now because she is trying to block it all out...she is still in the mind frame that it is all just a bad dream and she is just waiting to wake up... |

Wow, Hartman looks yummy outside that detective uniform. I love this chapter for the small bits of information about him and his interest in the case. His job offer came just in time huh? Offering everything Abby was in need of. I believe she is time enough for Gabby and I hope I'm right! That little girl seems like she has plenty of tricks up her sleeve to drive someone up a wall!

Gabby definitely knows how to push peoples buttons and gets enjoyment out of doing so...but of course it is her way of getting out pent up frustration...hopefully Abby can help her before its too late. |

I was so thrilled to see this on Blogger. I've started reading and I'm on chapter two now. Slowly catching up. I love your header. How did you do that? It's uber cool! Chapter Two Was she for real? Turning down the gorgeous man in uniform, droolworthy Hartman? For real? I knew she'd cave in the end. Can't say no to man in uniform  Chapter Three
Wow, Gabby is really unpleasant isn't she. After seeing her in action, I wonder what her mother's like since Hartman stated she's like that because of her.
I think Gabby has abandonment issues than anything else, probably stemming from her relationship with her mom. The way she said "They always leave in the end" just broke my heart. And I'm glad Abby's staying, and with her psychology background here's to hoping she'll get through to the little girl.
Intriguing storyline. And I'm so thrilled I caught this in its early chapters. It would have been so hard to play catch up.
And my, Hartman is a hottie. And I'm hoping a naughtie too.
Chapter FourWow, what a terrible thing to learn about her parents' death, and what a way to find out too. His wandering thoughts as he stared at her while bent over the sink answered my question in the previous chapter. He's def a naughtie! |

I am so thrilled that you took the time to read it! The header is just a Photobucket slide show that I added some pics from the chapters to! Yes lets just say if they were handing out mother of the year awards, Gabby's mother would probably be last in line for one. She has serious abandonment issues with her mother as well as with the past nannies who wouldn't stay around to tolerate her bs.
It is indeed a horrible way to find out what really happened to her parents. Hartman along with the other detectives and police didn't divulge this information for many reasons that we will come to know in time!
HAHA! Yes our dreamy Hartman does have a naughty side!
