Holly I do get really mean when woohoo doesn't come my way, but I don't notice it, George does! LOL I am a Romantic Sim after all! Tina is there any other place besides My Documents that I should be looking for as far as Hacks or anything else, to make sure my game is totally clean?  |

No. Not unless you've manually put some files in your programs EA folder. All cc goes into your downloads folder your documents folder.

Holly, I have clean installer, but I thought that was just for installing, what else can you do with it? YOu said something about cleaning up some files, how do you do that?

I do it as I download CC, but I think you can take you're whole Download folder and add it to you're clean Installer, then you can go through all you're CC and find out if you have any bad CC in you're folder " Anything in Pink". Also it will tell you if you have duplicates of anything. I have never put in my whole downloads folder, because it would have taken me a week ( No Lie ) too go through it! I had 19,000 & something files in it, EEK!  |

Like Lynda said, you can use clean installer to find duplicate files and remove them. You can also use it to organize your downloads folder into neat little subfolders to make it much easier to keep track of your cc. Ever since Nightlife came out, I have had all my downloads subfoldered for better organization. Now I can pretty much find anything in there I'm looking for if I labled it clearly enough.
The pink ones are not bad files. If something is pink, it means it's a duplicate. Hacks are usually shaded in red. Sometimes you will see something that says 'empty package'. When you see that, you can delete it.

I don't know Tina, There was one time when I did that and I ended up deleteing all Meshes in my game! All my CC that needed a mesh turned Blue! EEK Had to uninstall & then reinstall & then go shopping for CC again! Very BIG Smile on my face Hee, Hee!  |

Well then you must have deleted something else that you should have because when it's an empty package, it's just that: empty. I've done it dozens of times and never lost a thing.  The main thing is to always make a copy of your downloads folder and place it safely somewhere outside of your game before messing around with anything new. Then if something goes wrong, all you have to do is put your saved downloads folder back and then it's like you never did anything at all. |

Well I have pretty much given up on trying to figure out the problem with that stupid lot business for now. It will drive me insane if I let it...lol
I have decided to make my own trailer park and see how that goes. I've been playing with it almost all day and am having fun with it even though I rarely build my own stuff because I don't use building cheats and other people's stuff is usually much cooler than mine. So far I am pretty happy with the results. Hopefully it won't go all wonky and bork when I'm done and change it into an apartment lot....lol
