I'm not having any problems..not that I know of. I havn't even tried that Appt that Tina says crashes on her's. I put the MATY unofficial patch on mine straight after I installed it. Oh I did have that puppy in a pen glitch, but that is all.

WOW! I have uninstalled all my games and then reinstalled all of them , but when I went to install AL it wouldn't do anything at all! I have not played my game because, I thought I would wait and exchange the bad AL disc for a new one. I have zero CC in my game right now. Its like brand new. From listening to you guys, I'm not sure I want AL anymore! Are all these problems worth it? I know there's always a way to get around glitches, but WOW it sounds like you guys are really haveing big problems!  Hey Lynda, it's good to see ya! But I'm sorry to hear you're having troubles installing AL. It really IS a pretty cool game so far, despite the troubles I'm having. Mine are just a few incompatibility issues, I believe. So what do you mean by it won't do anything at all? Does the autorun not start up? If that is the case, it could be an issue with autorun on your disc drive or something. I had some issues with autorun before and it is annoying. Hey y'all, I'm not sure, but I think I know what my building cheat problem is. I'm going to experiment some more and let you know for sure, but it may be because I left an open wall that didn't connect to the other wall. If so, how stupid is that? It's like you are not able to use the floor dividers that came with Pets because it renders the area as 'common property'.  How ridiculous! |

Just adding I really like AL, the ceilings are great, I love the kids play ground stuff, and the new toddler interactions are so cute.

Thanks Tina, I have had this problem before installing UNI for the first time. George returned it and bought me a new one. It installed perfect. I'm hopeing it goes the same way with Al. Now if I can get my very forgetful hubby to get me a new one I'll be the happiest simmer in the world! And Jo how much coffee have you had this morning? I sware you're speedy gonzoles!  |

Yes... i like AL too. It is not my favorite, but the playground equipment is cool. teenagers can hang out on them too (FYI). I haven't done the witch thing yet. I think I am gonna start a fantast neighborhood and have it all in there.
i am sorry to hear everyone having problems. I went through with Clean Installer today and got rid of a bunch of Pink things. It fixed up what i thought were small glitches that the patch didn't fix. So, everything is good here.

Jo you lucky girl, I have the regular DSL and I can't stand it because its SO SLOW!! Hi Holly, I always have to use the clean installer, because I have a BAD habit of going on shopping spree's for my sims! ;D Just can't help my self. This time I AM going to try to be careful ( I Hope ) There should be some kind of AA Simmers meetings for CC, or something like that

Now I'm going to have to read it again too! Great Pics, Now I really can't wait till I get Al Installed and all my fixes and some of my special CC in my game, because thats exactly what I was going to do. Have a simself house and just let them have at it! LOL.

I feel like I should be in an asylum right now. All this experimenting and troubleshooting is about to drive me insane...LOL Well, it wasn't the open wall causing my problem.  I will have to experiment with that cheat on another lot maybe to see if it borks on it too. Or I'll go try on my daughter's computer. She isn't having any problems on this stupid lot like I am. *sigh* |

I left George a honey do list for AL so I should get it about 6:00pm tomarrow, and I'll try to fiddle with it. You poor thing, it drives me crazy when I can't figure somehting out! |
