Ugh french. My mom hates that language for some reason.
Mom- "No, I will NOT let you take that class next year, who speaks french anyways?"
Me- "Umm I don't know, maybe THE FRENCH!"
So, now I'll be taking german (hooray?).

always wanted to learn german. was supposed to do it in cegep but I took history and computer instead. After that I wanted to take it in uni but it was 2 semesters instead of one so I took german history instead. But now I am learning by myself to speak german. I think it's a great langage

I found German to be easier then French. Not that either is of any real use over here.

My french teachers in school alternated between France french and Quebec french... so when I speak it's probably a bastardization of both pronunciations... oh well, I remember how to swear in french... and that is something to be proud of imo

lol when swearing in any language it's the gestures and facial expression that really make it effective. I also learned how to swear in sign language... no simple "Birds" for the stupid drivers on the road with me and I have found that I can discreetly call my ex husband an a$$hole without him knowing
