I think I got a D in French, but the teacher we had was pathetic. I might have done ok at German if we didn't have to do French as well. Two languages at once my head was spinning. My kids actually enjoy there mandarin Tina. My 4 year old asks me to put the dvd's on. Under 6 is the best age to start.

Oh yea. When one is very young, you are more open to learning a new language. It's the best time to start.

just saw the post. Now something I can talk about with experience French isn't hard, well not for me But I know a lot of people have difficulties learning it because we do have a lot of grammatical stuff to learn. You say the best french teacher was from Canada??? At school we have french classes for 13 years. Only had 2 good teachers!!! How funny is that. And I do prefer canadian french to france's french. I don't understand them ... ;P Why would people want to come here to live here? ? I want to get away from here I saw some mistakes in your text. I don't know if you need it or not but if you do I could help you correct the mistakes. Just ask I'll PM it to you sorry if I'm WHAT?? a week late sorry

Well everything has its pros and cons. If you lived somewhere where it was warm all the time, you may miss the snow once in a while, get tired of having insects alive all year round, be crowded out by annoying tourists most of the time, and take the GORGEOUS blue/green waters in sea for granite...lol! I lived three blocks from the beach for about three years and at first I went to the beach all the time. I loved walking along the shore and the boardwalk, etc. After a while though, it was just like living anywhere else and I stopped going to the beach as much. I began to take it for granite. Now that I am here and there is no interesting place to walk to, I sometimes wish the beach was near to offer some motivation because I could certainly use a bit more walking.

I passed Spanish with a C, I don't know who I did it, because I was doing things that I shouldn't have been doing in HS! I barely remember HS! The only reason I know German is because My husband and I were stationed there for 4yrs. I think it was the loneliest 4yrs of my life!

wow I'd love to go to germany someday. There are so many awesome things to do and see there ... and Tina miss snow?? Never. I truly hate snow almost more than anything else. But I know I'd miss Canada somehow. That's why I'll always come back here (during the summer) hehe
