I swear French is the hardest language to learn...EVER!!! I just totally suck at it! I swear I spent at least nine years of my life trying to learn the thing, and as far as progress is concerned...I just don't see anything happening. I'm frustrated with my homework and so ready to bounce my head off the wall!!! GGGGAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! The French from France confuse me, it's like they just can't get what they want to say into english! People from England who speak French that they learned via someone from France have the same problem...I'm telling you the best french teacher I ever had was from Canada. *sigh* ;D Hey! I haven't ranted in a while, whoo! Now, back to the homework that will take all night and I've got a math test tomorrow. I wish it were the weekend...

It's paradise only if you don't live here trust me. When you do you realize it's not all it's cracked up to be. Oh! I forgot, I've gotta go rant about the John Trovolta (or however you spell it) case cause 1 reporter called all Bahamians...I forget the word she used but Nancy Grace insulted us too. Now...where did I put my webcam I haven't seen it for a while now... Now back to the subject!!! French is horrible! I'm cool until it's time to do the contregations (sp?)

Some official tried to blackmail the Travolta family for money in exchange for keeping some details of his son's death private. I just heard that part - not the details. Jett Travolta had Kowasaki's Disease, and died from a seizure there at age 16.

Yeah, senator Pleasant Bridgewater, seriously, that's her name.
Now here is the essay that was causing me so much stress. It probably doesn't make much sense because at this point I'm falling asleep as I type.
Mae (and anyone else who can speak french) feel free to critique.

Poor Pixx, I failed French so badly We had to do both French and German in grade 8 and 9. What a waste of time! We may as well of been learning about the colour of grease it was such a useful class. At least these days most schools here now teach Japanese or mandarin Chinese (I have mandarin dvd's for my kids) which can be usful living over here. But French! That was brought over by English high ups in the education dept back in the dark ages. Which if you lived in England could actually be useful. Right as if down here the majority of people would find themselves ever needing French.

Actually I think it sucks to be FORCED to take lessons in any language that is foreign to your own. Now if you are going into a career that may require the use of a second/third language, that is one thing; other than that, I see no use for it at all. The opportunity should be there for those who want to learn it, but it shouldn't be forced upon anyone for grade credits. Although I do believe anyone who plans to live permanently in a country which speaks a different language than your own should be required to learn that language.

I agree with Tina! It sucks especially at college level. My career is Law and I plan on practicing in the US which means that French...probably won't need much of that.
LOL Jo I got a D on my nat'l exam which is good cause I'm usually on the F scale with that language.
