My Dad only just rang and told me, but she woke up with chest pains early this morning so her Dr sent her in as a suspected heart attack, although the Dr who has seen her there doesn't think it is. (It's 4.15pm now) She has to have some tests. We'll be off to see her as soon as Dh gets home from work.
Any prayers or thoughts appreciated.

Prayers to you and your family Jo. I hope that everything will turn out to be okay and not be anything serious! Chest pains can happen for all kinds of reasons, not all life threatening, lets hope for the latter!  |

Thanks everyone, we won't know a whole lot more before tomorrow, but two tests she had came back negative which is good. Tomorrow they are giving her another blood test that tests for some enzyme that the heart puts out, but so far the first two have been negative which is good. It may be pleurisy instead.

So sorry to hear about your Mum Jo. I am glad to hear some tests are coming back negative. Sending my prayers your way too, that all keeps going positivly for you and your family.

They told us the first enzyme test would be at 6am this morning, so I'll assume they have done that. It's still to early for the ECG.
