Tess is becomig more human like every time I read a chapter! Ashley is getting on my nerves for sure! I have a feeling she is about to make things hard for Talson. :

Tessa's reaction to "Elliot" was so interesting and the concern (if that is what is is) in her voice that she could be programed for something different...these are all very interesting. I'm curious to see what happens with her next.  @ poor Pascal and his jokes. It is good to see Talson trying to support his creativity. It is sad he didn't get the same support at his age. Argh! Ashely is going after Talson's money. This can't end well, especially if Arlo is involved. |

First, I hope Ashley's plane crashes on her way to see Rita. I can't believe the nerve of her, trying to use Talson like that.
I think Tessa's behavior fascinates me more than it does Talson, she's growing more human by the day, and now that you've shown the other simbot, I can't believe the contrasts and differences between the two. She really does take after "us" more than the oxybot.
I love Talson's relationship with Pascal, I think being scientists they both get each other, and I think Pascal's so lucky to have Talson for a mentor.

Thanks!  He really dotes on Pascal. Pascal is like the little brother he lost. How different he might've grown up if he hadn't come to live at the school & get "adopted" by the Smiths. We'll get to see a little more of Tal's childhood in ch 6. @ Ashley's plane going down! There's going to be a lot more people wishing that before she's done! (of course, I don't think it'll rate it's own siggy or club! Lol!) |

I love this because it so unique!!
I love that they are so intrigued and surprised by Tessa's emotional reactions. I want a simbot now!
I also love the relationship between Tessa and Rita!
Ashley, Ashley, Ashley....what a hole you've gotten yourself into for that sexy evil vamp and now you shall pay for it. what a shame!

I don't think I even left a comment last chapter  But I love the whole thing. I fail at leaving good comments on plotty stuff apart from 'It's so good!' I get reading so much I forget to comment. Now maybe I am totally off track here, but Talson and Tessa...I get the feeling he maybe likes her slightly more than simply as an scientist and a sim bot? Poor Rita being sucked dry of all her money. Ashley, well we all know why she is desperate and while I feel sorry she may end up being vampire food, has dug her own ditch so it seems. |

Lol! Thanks! Jo, I think you're the only one that mentioned Rita! And you're right not to feel bad for Ashley - she's more evil than anyone knows...yet. She definitely has more brass than brains! And I want a simbot, too, Qui! They worked so hard to bring about a more "realistic" simbot, and I don't think they really expected it to work as well as it seems to be.  |

So. Much. Awesome. ;D I've read up to date now, and omg I love this Jilly. So much detail, so much Cyber-Psychology, you make me want to get my internet interaction books out again! I love Tessa and the unexpected surprises she throws in, her fascination with things is just brilliant. I have so much I want to type about her but I keep just wanting to put 'awesome'. Aw, Pascal as an over-enthusiastic teenager, with a good mind but not much common sense yet. Good idea with the jokes, baaad idea with the recipient. Poor Elliot! Although Tessa seems to enjoy relaying them to people. Good luck coming up with 365 of them though! Poor Rita's ill and broke and possibly stuck in Paris, Ashley's either doomed or tricking us all (and good on Tessa for being the doorwoman to try and keep her out!). I love all the Curious family members, but Talson's just made of brilliance. He still reminds me of my boyfriend, possibly because of the braid, but mostly because of the mind. And the fact he loves science so much he wears those goggles all the time. I just want to hug the poor guy, when he gets to the social interaction he's great, he just doesn't...seek it out. Rita's good for him. Ah, knew there was something, that first picture of Arlo was so scary I gasped out loud, my Mum ran in and went 'What is it?...Oooh, look at him!' So Arlo has at least one fan. Can't wait to find out more about every character in this, and I love how much plot there is. The detail and the thought you've put into this Jilly, kudos. ;D |

I was hopng to post ch 6 this weekend, but I have almost no pictures taken yet, and I have my writer's group this weekend, so I probably won't get to it. Soon, though.

Thanks, Beth. I'm dancing around a difficult scene for ch 7, and I want to get it right before I post 6, in case I need to change something there. *Your comment on Lj...one thing was exactly right, and one was exactly wrong, but if I told you which was which, it would ruin all my fun! Lol!
Poor Rita's pretty screwed, for the time being, at least. Good thing she's taken steps to get rid of Ashley, but it's pretty late in the game for that. She really did need some time off, and that's going to have to come about, one way or another.
Tessa, yes, as I'm writing her scenes in ch 7, she's breaking my heart a little, too.

It was so interesting to catch a glimpse of a day in Sabine's life. I'm still amazed at the amount of detail you keep putting into the plot development. Very inspiring.
Aw, I found it so sad when Talson realized Tessa's fear of being dismantled.
He seems to be so in tune with her emotions, while she, on the other hand is in tune with his intellectual side. Interesting idea is forming in my head. Or maybe it's been there for a while, I'm only now starting to pay attention to it.
I loved the transition to the Cabaret Gothique scene, skilfully done.
I can't wait to see more of the side storyline with Guy. |
