Great update! I liked the insight into the aliens past. Re-animation, huh? Interesting.
This time traveling trip sounds exciting and dangerous.
LOL@ "pleasurebot" and Talson's embarrassed reaction. It would have been funny if he would have sent her out naked. LOL!
It's a wonder such a sweet man came from a monster. Talson really does owe PT and Sabine his life.
I can't wait to find out more about this "Dark Times"

Wow! Thanks, Jo! *blushes It's definitely going to be a long one, and with my internet down, it's very frustrating that I can't get anything up to PB for ch 3. There'll be some info on the "Dark Times" in this one. Lol@ Housemaid outfit! None of the other simbots even have clothes, but since they look like your "average" simbot, no one cares. @ Holley: I was going to have him wearing the playbot T-shirt, but I thought that would give the wrong impression! (since that would be a very real possibility instead of a joke) I'm glad I found a way to rework the idea into the story! @ Val! And thanks for reading, Nancy & Dana! I hope I keep you interested! Now they're saying it may be Thursday before we're back up. (The construction crew working on the new freeway extension damaged AT&T's cables) So I'm not sure when the next ch will be up, but I hope by next weekend! Speaking of internet, I guess I better get off the neighbor's before they catch me! Lol! |

It's just like him, forgetting/overlooking the need to cover the female form. It's/she's just a machine to him. It really was completely embarrassing for him, which was so endearing.

Brilliance, Jill. So much planning, thought and wonderful writing have gone into this. I commented on both chapters on LJ, but as a summary omg I loved this so much. I'm intrigued, excited about the coming chapters, and I love all the characters. Great stuff. |

Great chapter. I love Tessa, she's such a simbot, with human qualities! And that canopy jar, I wonder what juju it has to have put such a spell on Tessa. I like the way you integrate the past, and explain why things are a certain way, and great concept on the Darklings. That one darkling does look fears! Rita's a smart girl, I bet it won't be long before she's on to that gold-digging Ashley. I sense another Tamsyn there! But at least Ashley works for her money And the lesson between Rita and Talson made me smile so wide. I think it's cute the way Rita has him figured out. Loved it Jill. |

I was hoping it wasn't too much info all at once on the reasons for the times they live in.
Don't worry, I've still got some good secrets stashed for later on.

Rita is one smart cookie, and she not only has Talson's number, she has Ashley's too. Next chapter, we'll see just what Ashley's been up to...and for who.
Yes, Forgetful Talson remebered Tessa's request. Since she's his current invention, and his inventions are pretty much all he thinks about, that wasn't too hard for him. He wants to find out why she asked for it, and see what she'll ask for next...he's facinated with the possibilities.
And I did change it - you know me. I will edit something every single time I touch it. I will always find something that needs to be redone, replaced, removed...someone needs to pull things away from me forcably before I'll post! Holley, you're a saint to put up with such an anal, non-paying client!
I'm hard at work on chapter 4, so hopefully, it won't be too long!

As usual such a great chapter Jill. I love Talson's anxiety about his new housebot, even though he has made and programed so many himself. But there is something special about Tessa. Nice picture of Talson there. Such "potential" It was interesting to learn a bit about the Dark Times. I can see why civilization would want to return to a seemingly "Great" era. The Darklings are such an interesting group. The history you gave them is fascinating. The fact that they were once "human" and it was the lack of oxygen that made them the way they are makes you wonder if they are monsters as depicted. The picture of the Darkling in the book sure makes it seem like it. I LOVE Tessa's hair. Of course she's a blond Love, Love, Love the lessons. Rita sure has Talson's number. Good idea getting Tessa involved. maybe he will relax a bit more around people now. Poor Rita, having to go back to the lime light just when she was beginning to relax. At least she seems to have Ashley's ticket! I wonder who the person is Ashley was talking to. He sounds scary |

I sure hope he's scary! I've been driving myself nuts trying to make that true! I'm holding "auditions" in my game this weekend to see who looks the most dangerous of all the possible candidates I've gathered. He's going to make his 1st appearance right at the begining of ch 4, so I need to decide quickly! I know writing his part has definitely given me the creeps! *hint And don't count Rita out yet. she may have contractual obligations to fulfil, but she's still going to be keeping tabs on things. |
