What an amazing start Jill. I feel like I know your characters already and I slowly falling in love with our shy, awkward Talson.

I love the backdrop and plot you've created for this. I would never have dreamed up such an intricate plot. Already it sounds well thought out, and well developed.

Can't wait for Talson's lunch date with Rita. And aw, Sabine is such a dear.

The Smith's house looks marvelous :-)

Thanks! He was born in-game. The family I made when I was testing out the AMB time machine did a "try for baby in the future", and this old man came out of the time machine a few days later. I was pretty creeped out & decided to never try that again! Lol!

But I threw him in CAS and aged him down, and this is him. His in-game brother and sister were the results of "try for baby in the past", and they'll be shown in a flashback next chapter.

That's the coolest thing I've heard in a while. I never tried for baby in the time machine. Now I know not to But Stefanie finally made her 1st simbot

What an imaginative idea for a story. The environment these people live in is a testament to your creative, twisted mind. LOL!!!
I also love Talson already He's cute. LOL @ him forgetting to take his goggles off. You'd think someone would have told him.
Looks like he has found a true friend in Rita. Can't wait to see what happens at the "date".

A new type of simbot, huh? Interesting...

I wonder what these "Darklings" are.

Thanks, Holley! Yes, Talson's a very forgetful fella. His mind is all about the inventing, and he misses quite a lot of what's right in front of him.

It'll be a few chapters before we meet them, but I think the Darklings will be everyone's favorite part. Maybe two more chapters, like ch 4? 5 at the most.

You'll definitely get a better look at the new simbot (shown on the last frame) in ch 2.

Val, the "try for baby in the past" option gave me 2 young adults, and one teen. I've also heard that they sometimes bring home a random child as an "orphan" they found in time, but I haven't seen that. The teen isn't that good looking, so I didn't use her in this story. The 2 YA's were pretty cute, and they all came with awesome period clothing. (see Juni's Ambitions thread) One was a cave girl, and one was a knight. The teen was medieval.

Yay for Red's simbot! I have to use some old shots for some scenes, because this version of Talson hasn't found a pink diamond yet! Lol!

before I forget, "People fear what they don’t understand, and they hate what they fear." this line just jumped out at me. It's frightening and unsettling, but too true...

We learned so much about Talson in this one. What a dreadful man his real father was, and it's so sad how he destroyed Talson's relationship with his mom and siblings too. I wonder if he'd have regrets if he saw his son now, and his groundbreaking inventions.

I'm curious about the remains of Egyptian princess inside Tessa...Will it? Can it? Am I crazy for even thinking about it? I sense something sizzling there, but if you tell me I'm crazy I'll let it go

Rita is the most down to earth celebrity I've met. She's so normal, and friendly, a real class act. And I love the way she reached out to Tessa, they'll be fast friends in no time! And her reference to "sexbot" made me smile.

And I like Tessa's personality, she's got simbot tendencies, but human wittiness too, and it's so interesting listening to her talk.
