DD Joint Legacy (Round Robin) Rules and Guidelines

Hopefully I can get done what I am working on before my turn.
I heard mention of a community on LJ. Where is that?

A question. I have just read over all the sims 3 legacy rules. Most of them i have no trouble with. I was planning on rolling for traits anway, but these rules state if the founder is male all heirs must be male. If the founder is female all heirs must be female. I vote that we toss that rule and put all the kids up for an heirship poll, be they male or female.
Opinions on this?

Err never mind! I just realized he's saying if we play it as a Matriarchy/Patriarchy. So we won't. I will play by the family trait. Do you guys want imput into this or should I decide? Once decided all sims born into the family must have this one trait.

P.S What are his traits again?

Niall's traits are: Brave, Athletic, Charismatic, Hopeless Romantic, and Loves Outdoors. (lol!) His eyes are blue, and he usually looks happier than this - I guess he got tired of waiting for me to take his picture!

I guess you could roll for the family trait. We're definitely decided on heirship polls, if I remember right.

I thought I would pick one of his existing traits for the family trait.
Brave maybe? Charasmatic would be good too. It needs to be a good trait to balance out what the game might roll up. It will be funny if we get a brave coward.
Or won't the game do that?

You can't have a brave coward. Certain traits block out when you choose others.

I think we should vote for heir... That's my opinion.

Yes I think so too. Well the family trait will either be Brave or Charasmatic. He was right there in the bin with his hair yah! I only changed his sleepwear and kept everything else.
I've bought the huge block that the rules say to start on so wish me luck, I have the hardest job! Just as well I enjoy hard starts. ;D

Also CAS worked fine, so maybe deleting the doll and those cache files has done the trick.

Holley, we do have an LJ community, if it didn't get deleted for non-use. I didn't really understand why we needed it - I think that's where they wanted us to post our chapters initially. I've never been back since I signed up. I'll have to hunt up the thread for it again, because I don't remember what it's called or how to get there.

~ I Know we voted that the founder must always have the Family trait,I think a second would be advisable as well, because we could roll anything at all for the remaining traits, I love that they have the dice in CAS, makes it so much easier! ;D

I already chose the family trait, I decided on ‘charismati’c as it is one of his traits and quite useful. Where did we vote for the family trait to be ‘family orientated?’ Also I saw Deaclan so that's what he is.
The hood doesn't matter so long as it's the largest block.

LOL! Jill, the link for the LJ community is posted right here in the announcements forum. Thanks Karima for posting the link here! It's still there and, yes, it is meant for posting the chapters there to keep them all in one place. May as well use it since I went through the steps to create it.

I guess maybe the link should be posted in the main RR thread for easy reference.

Actually voting for the heir is in the official rules for this challenge.

I know I got Deaclan from somewhere as I copy pasted it, it wasn't from my head. If this is a problem I can change his name at City Hall. This doesn't bother me.

In the legacy rules the family trait is simply any trait passed down from the founder to the children. It could be 'light sleeper' 'klepto' any trait at all. 'Family orientated' is not one of his traits.
Jilly told me he was brave, Athletic, Charismatic, Hopeless Romantic, and Loves Outdoors. So I chose charismatic. I guess someone else can add family orientated if they want when it's their turn.

Declan was my fault. I was trying to remember without looking it up. Hey, I got most of the letters right! Lol! I know it's Irish, but for the life of me, I can't remember anymore what it means. (I know it's in that thread) Since he's only going to be in Jo's chapter anyway, it doesn't really matter to me if he gets changed back to Daeglan or not.

I still have to sit down & re-read all the rules & stuff over again - I suffer from CRS!!!
