So, I am getting excited and anxious about starting my turn at the DD RR. I was thinking we needed organized thread for all the information so we don't have to search through a thread.Anyone willing to condense and finalize that?
How are heirs being transported from one person to another?
Where are the "guidelines" for the challenge, i.e. how many kids are mandatory, etc?

I do know they have to be moved on an empty lot or house so they don't lose their traits! ~ The minimum amount of children is three,& if you have twins it is only counted as one birth,so pray you do not have three sets of twins!lol! ~ That all children are eligible to be heir,no matter how many! ~ That there is only one heir! ~ That you can not cake a child/teen before time!(though we all voted that we could, if wanted, cake a baby to toddler!As they learn nothing in baby stage!) ~ I guess we will have to get someone to sort it all out!

The rules are all in the first post in this thread as well as the link to the legacy challenge.
But really the main things to remember are, find someone to marry, have three pregnancies at least. Wait until the birthday pop up before bring out a cake, no cheats or life fruit, set story progresuon on and life length to normal. When given the opportunity on a birthday click the randomize dice for the traits. On teen or YA give them the family trait of charismatic'. Document the generation. How you play otherwise is up to you. That's it.
When we know who the heir is (although right now it looks to be Dawn) someone will need to tell me how to upload her as I have no clue. Can I just use the mirror? It goes to CAS, so can't I just save her there? Then I guess Holley can age her up to YA in CAS and start on a fresh block. Or can I upload her on the home block by herself? I'm going to need some help with this.

I'm going to need some help with this. ~ You can not save her in the mirror because she will just be a Sim with no traits,that's why you have to put the heir on a block of land or in a house by them selves,So they keep their traits & basically who they are!then save & then copy,you will then find them in the C:\Documents and Settings\Karima\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Exports (this will be different in each system but you get the drift!) find in the EXPORT folder! ~ Then you can load it to boxnet or Mediafire(or which ever one you use!)so that the next person in line can access it! |

Jo, so far it does look like Dawn is going to be heir,if that is the case you will have to cake her to YA,so you can move her by herself! ~ This is a special one time only pre-caking before their age unless you want to play her, when she wins, to age her,so you can pass her on to Holley!

Yup. Cake her to YA, put her on an empty lot, save, then from the hood screen in edit town, you can save a copy to your library. Name it so you know it, and you can upload it from there.

No, you're meant to take the money with her...somehow. I don't mind uploading her in the house I built for them. Maybe if you take all of them and then move the others out, that would work? Then you could cake her to YA. I slept in and I'm only on my first cup of coffee, but I'll do a search on this later.

That would work. When you get the lot with everyine on it, cake her, then move the others out, most of the money should stay with her.

Really, that would work? Goodie. Well if she is caked so should Donald and Douglas so that they are all the same age as her brothers are older then she is. I'm thinking Holley will need to use a different neighbourhood? If she uses a fresh Sunset Valley a younger Bebe heart and family will be there which would be kind of weird.

I don't think we discussed the neighborhood options. As long as the next player doesn't use the previous player's hood, I think it should be fine. I don't think we have to keep them seperate any longer than that, do you?

I think so. But no marrying in a sim who was married in before, so no one can marry Bebe in again. Maybe we will need to keep a spouse list.

That is mentioned in the first post. It says you can use the same hood, just not to remarry in the same people.
