2011 Hotness Calendar Nominees

I thought it was a bit early, but I guess not.
This thread is to nominate Hot Pixelated guys for our second annual Hotness Calendar
Let's come up with, and finalize, rules and guidelines as a group which can be edited on the first post here.

Suggested rules for entry
1. Sim must come from a story written by a DD member.
2. No Maxis made Sims can be nominated.
3. The Calendar will include 6 Sims from TS2 and 6 Sims from TS3
4. Limit of one Sim per person can make the calendar. If more than one nominee, a mini-poll will be taken to determine the contestant.
However, if there is support for the idea, a montage of multiple characters can be made. For example, January could be "The men of Fallen", etc.
This rule will be modified as details are hashed out.

11. Alfonso Paloma by Aussie Karima, starring in Val and Karima's Unforgettable II
12. Abel Creation from holleyberry's Creation to Future



Nominated Sims from TS3
1. Ahkman-Rah from Jill's Bill and Sookie's World Adventures
2. Slade from Val's Twinbrook Chronicles
3. Talson Curious from Jill's A Clockwork Heart

Nominations end October 31, 2010
After that a poll will be conducted and the top 12 nominees will be included in the 2011 Hotness Calendar.

Ooops! Holley, I just noticed you put the wrong calendar in your title, so I mdified it for you. You had it listed as the 2010 calendar and we already have one of those!

Anyway... great idea for a thread! This projects needs to be started earlier than last year, for sure! Once we have the winners, then we can work out all the details on submissions, etc.

How about Lance from Sealgaire as a nominee? I made him and Jill used him in her story.

If we are not prejudiced about odd-skinned/alien folks, I'd like to also nomnate Will Sparkle, from The Sparkle Legacy, even though Ashley gave up on that one after one chapter. *raises eyebrow* Shame on ya, Ash! Will is pretty hot for an alien-looking dude! I made him too.

Well, in that case, the slots for TS2 sims are already filled! Not really, though, if we are planning to make a poll and vote, although that may not be necessary unless someone completely disagrees with one of the nominees and wants to nominate a different sim.

I didn't see your post before now, Pixx, for some reason. They would be good choices, except they are EAxis-made sims. Does that make a difference? Should they be eligible, or not?

I didn't know that. however, since we are having a Poll we can take more than six nominees per story. i will just make two lists.

I think nominees should be limited to non-Maxis made, but that's my opinion. What does everyone else think?

I will add Ivan to TS2 list.

;D The amount of nominees does not matter, as we are holding a pole,(as there is clearly more than six, Sims 2 nominees!) for selecting the final Sims to put in the calendar

~ The more variety the better I say!

~ I did not know that the team at EA were signed up to DD's!lol!
~ I would say,that is a big NO! to EA Sims, no matter how yummy their pixels are!

So I'll add a rule about no-Maxis made Sims then.
Also, if we don't get at least 6 TS3 nominees we just add more TS2 people to the calendar, I would think.

Hmm, is there anyone we've missed? I'm going to have a think and add my thoughts later.

Well, we have several months left in this year, so maybe more Sims will become eligible.
