Well ok then, you do have a point. I didn't know that Niall wasn't Jill's. I'm just a bit funny about born in sims I guess. I tend to see them as always belonging to the person whose game they were born into. If he had been created in CAS I wouldn't have even thought about it. Lol poor Zae to have a bunch of 'old' woman drooling over his pixels.

Well, like I said, Uriah has been nominated. I'll add Jared to the list as well. Also, I am going to nominate my Abel from Creation to future as well.

OMG - I never noticed the bite marks! Good eye, Pixx! (Yay, Tean Uriah!) Yay, Abel! I think we're going to need a 2 year calendar! Lol!
I think the criteria last year was just to nominate sims from your fav stories, I don't think a lot of the winners were made by the writer of that story.
Ning, I hope you let us nominate Zae - I think everyone here has nominated him at least once!

haha, I was having a hard time choosing between Jared and Uriah coz I haven't read Fallen, but um, I think darker guys are hotter. *blush* And, a stupid reason, but I love Jared's jeans too. Oh Jilly, you worry for nothing. I feel so honoured that you guys actually nominated him! 8) He just, uh, never occurred to me as the sexy guy when I was writing CS, lol!

Actually, there was no criteria for last year. It was a 'surprise' project by Valpre and she picked all the sims for the calendar and just asked us if we'd mind lending her some of our sims for something she was doing. Then I decided it was so awesome that it should be made into a 'real' calendar to be hung upon our walls and used. Then, of course, I did all the 'physical' work concerning the project, took 'orders' and then sent them out. It was a good deal of work and expense, but it was fun! This year, however, 'the factory' is going to need 'donations' in order to actually do this thing again...lol. I had fun doing it, but my last name isn't Gates, so my simoleons are a bit limited.

>lol< You are both too funny. Don't they 'plead the fifth'? Tell us how much and the snails can row it across. Only send them earlier this time! Those darn snails eat too much Christmas pudding for us overseas.

LOL @ Jo but you're right, the snails had better get here in time. I want to start the new year with my new calendar already!

That's why we're starting this thing so early this year. The only thing I know is the calendars cost me around $20.00 each to make last year. It's hard to say, for sure, exactly how much it will be this year. It depends on whether ink is more or less expensive, etc. Plus, if we get high-resolution pics this year instead of low-resolution ones, I may be able to print them out using 'normal' mode on the printer instead of 'best', which will use less ink. Also, it took about $2.50 each last year to have them binded but, thanks to Karima, I now have a binding kit to use (if I can learn how to use it...lol), so that cost is gone now. Shipping cost me nearly $10.00 each to send them to SA and Australia and about $4.00 each to destinations in the states. All in all, it was a pretty freaking expensive project for me. I very much enjoyed doing it, but it certainly wasn't free. So, there is your breakdown of my costs. Most of those are mentioned here. I left shippping costs off that list because I didn't want to dampen anyone's fun....lol.

Wow, it is quite expensive. I've just worked it out now, if it's $40 for each calendar, it works out to R280 for me I didn't realise how expensive it was for you to make and if my calculations are correct abt the ZAR/USD conversion then I might have to sit this one out Well this year's calendar will be better organised I suppose, so it means better pictures and maybe the cost will work out less. Remember this was initially meant to be an online calendar and I didn't bother about the resolution of the images.
