Try the fruit earlier - once the hurlfest starts, and I bet 3 would work just fine.
Is there a DDRR rule about choosing the sex? Do you have to have 2 random births before chosing or anything, or can you just have whatever you want? I didn't see anything mentioned about it, which leads me to believe we can do whatever we want.

There isn't anything mentioned about it. I always start feeding my sims fruit the moment I know she's pregnant.

;D Hi, everyone!* Waves frantically!* ~ At MATY I read after much testing that the minimum for determining the sex, with fruit was FOUR! I was one that did the research before the patch, & three, was not enough to change the sex to what I wanted,It has to be four or more!(Four always works for me!)And you can change the sex of a multiple birth, by getting the doctor to tell you the sex, & then eat the minimum FOUR fruit to change the sex of the next one (or two) babies, say he says it is a boy,you then eat four or more Watermelons so the next one(or two!) will be a girl! This has all been tried & tested in many games & it does work! (reference MATY!)

Do you have the link to the page saying that karima? I don't get why it was always three before. Sigh, one more thing for my poor sims to scrounge/buy.

You could have one of them be a gardener - they don't need to skill all the way to plant watermelons, and apples can be planted right away.

I've also noticed-somehow, so is that doll. I uninstalled it and manually took out the file. How would this reapear? Unless he came on Deaglan? Apart from that I've only put in a few patterns. Slight spoiler Well I uninstalled the doll which didn't help, so I did that reset sim thing again. Which has fixed it. But... I have twice now had mum eat three melons while pregnant and we have three boys! Do you think it's the Autamn salad? A glitch? Maybe i should put on the upgrade. I so wanted a girl. ~ The doll attaches to ANYTHING on the EX, even patterns! ~ Ashley, my Sims3 Sims in your Comp. are all from multiple births, twins & triplets! They all look the same because they are siblings, their parents did not do anything different than a normal pregnancy, except they listened to the kids TV,(which I had going the whole pregnancy, except for the Sims turning it off, all the time!lol!) & while she was gardening,or in the house, upstairs or down, the Kids radio was on!So I proved that just listening to the kids TV & Radio can produce multiple births, I have had success with twins with this method but, I had my first set of triplets, using this,& you can see the results in your Comp!(they did not have enough aspiration points to get the multi birth perk!)

I've had success with the TV/radio on the kids channels, too. My ghost babies were a surprise - I wasn't trying for them, so it can happen randomly, too!

With all his evil traits, he's really fun to play! And it's funny how much he loves kids! Mine was that way, too. He wanted tons & his wife wasn't all that hot on the idea. The kids were about 50/50. Half were dark and crispy-looking & half had mom's fair skin. I haven't played them in ages - I really need to get back in there!
