You're welcome! See, it's just like that cache issue with TS2 when either the game or body shop won't start. Just delete the cache files and you're good to go!   Glad it worked for you! I'm getting ready to post some more pic spam right now. |

Lol! I left the thread twice, wondering what the heck I clicked on!
And just to further the thought on the Damn you EA point, I did the fix but still don't see my MATY Sims3 store cc. I miss my steampunk. *sniff. I only did the first part (for cc already installed) , not the second (for future use).

So, is it all sorted yet Jilly, I can't do a thing till I get my new Graphic/Video card back, then I will tackle this! I hope it all works out, I'm off to finish the Castle I'm building, the Tweaker is all set for play testing, & the Castle I'm building already has Sims in it, & so far it plays fine, the school bus comes & there is no lag, even on my old Vid card!(& that in itself is amazing!)

Jill, if you don't see your stuff, then you have done something wrong. Did you rewrite your resource.cfg file like you're supposed to do. If you don't copy and paste that new info in there, the game won't see those files in your mod/packages folder. Or.. if you've missed any of the steps, it won't work. If you say what you did step by step, maybe I can help you figure it out and get you back up and running again. |

I did that, but I didn't erase the original file. I just copied/pasted the info into the new file, but left the old file alone. Could that be it?

Possibly. I'm pretty sure the new one is complete and all you do is put what is in that into the file. I'll attach mine and you can just get rid of your old one and use that if you want. Also, there is one more thing: Did you move your Mods/Packages folder out of your Sims 3 folder and put it into your World Adventures folder? If not, that may be what's not letting it work. I moved all my stuff into my World Adventures folder because it was recommended to do so. Attachments:

I didn't believe I moved it from the base game to WA. Thanks for the files! I'll fire them up & let you know!

i just did the fix to get all my Store stuff back. It worked perfectly and I am so happy to see everything again. However, this concerns me.  Does this mean when I download CC in the future I can't just double click it and have the Installer install it? If so... ARGH!!! i just discovered CC. What else can I use? |
