thats not encluding all the lots I have in 4shared.com! I can download them from there so I delete them from my packaged lot! Takes up less room on the poor old gal!

WOW! That's a LOT of CC Lynda! Hmm, do you have Sims2CleanPack installer? If not, some of those could be duplicates. Wow... that's a lot of stuff!

I have LOTS of stuff and my game takes only about 3-5 minutes to load right now. Of course I have this new super-powerful computer that hubby just built me.

Shoot Lynda you even beat me and I have over 10,000 files. My game only takes about 9-10 minutes to load and I still think that's on the slow side. Without the cc it loads in 3 minutes.
I would go crazy if it took 32 minutes!

Well, I'm a long time attender, first time speaker, and my name is Jessie and I'm a CC addict.

I have totally download a million things that I've never used, or almost never used, for reasons I don't even understand, lol.

And my downloads folder is a mess! For some reason, I don't organize my dowloads folder, just the folder that I actually download into. I have a sims stuff folder that everything I download goes into. And it gets sorted from there and then installed into the game. I really should consider organizing but it just takes SO long. I'm too lazy. lol.

@jessie! Love the way you worded your 'introduction'!

Well you know something? If you have everything you've downloaded still in its 'just downloaded' state, it will be pretty easy to organize all your stuff someday. Oh it will take a bit of time just the same, but still not as hard as if you had to find everything in your actual downloads folder to organize them.

Gosh I spent several hours working on mine when I first did it, but it was SO worth it! Now I can find just about anything inside my downloads folder pretty quickly for switching it out for updates, removing it because it no longer needed, etc.

Also spent countless hours color-binning and putting my cc hair into families AND binning my cc jewelery once BV came out. But it was all so very worth it in end.

See, I'm way too lazy for that. It's part of the reason I switched from the exchange to livejournal with my legacy. I couldn't hunker down and organize my storytelling folder. Although, to be fair the thing was a sordid mess of doubles and triples and weird names and total garbage. So we started over and now I'm fully organized

Yea, that happens everytime you make a new chapter by organizing the photos on a different lot from which they are taken. It's so stupid the way they did that. Why not just take the orignal pic and rename it to the family instead of making duplicates, triplicates, etc. It makes a big bloated mess.

I've gotten so that I move my old one out and make a new one every few chapters. If I ever need the olders ones to edit, etc I just put them back in and do it.
