Your telling me! I really don't know how I got that many files. Obvously I downloaded them but it just doesn't seem that much! More then half would be my medieval stuff but I can't take it out incase I go back there. I am still downloading too, I got some more hair and clothes just today. Help I need 12 steps!

My only problem with CC, is that I am to lazy to organize my content properly, I don't create folders, I just put the file in the main folder, so then when I want to delete CC that I don't use. I don't were it is. And that gets me pissed:@

Yep, that's where most of mine is too. I have made a new folder in there for new downloads in case I get something bad, but there is no way I could orginize the 10,000 in the main folder.

God people, how do y'all stand that??? My folder was a jumbled mess before NL came out and we could sub-folder... Here's how my Downloads folder looks... There's folders inside of folders and then folders inside of those folders...lol. I opened a couple of them up to show ya and there's also some folders inside of those.. Give me a little while and I can find almost anything in there...

If you have the sims2cleanpack installer, it can help to organize the downloads folder. I use it every time I open a package file from the exchange, etc too and it makes the file retain it's name instead of assigning that LONG string of numbers as a name so that you never can tell what the heck the thing is! Those long numbers are just annoying...

Oh my god! You put me to shame! My folder is just full of unrecognizable numbers. How do you know which is which after you've already downloaded them?
I should probably get that cleaner thing you were talking about ;D

The sims2pack clean installer is one of the handiest programs you'll ever have for the sims! Get it here! It usually shows you the name of the download, who made it, and sometimes where it came from if the creator put that in the hover text. I don't know how I ever lived without it! Like I said, I NEVER use the default EA installer for my sims2pack files anymore. I ALWAYS open them with this tool! BTW, once you know what item that LONG string of numbers represents, you CAN rename it to something more recogniziable and it will work just fine.

You CAN rename them? Well that will come in handy! It will take forever to do though. I'll gradually get there.
