Well, I have almost EVERY hack from one of the smartest and most reliable modders out there, JM Pescado! There's a LOT of things in the game that EA should have fixed and didn't, but JM sure did! If you go to his site and read about them, you'll know why lots of them are what I feel are necessary. I don't believe I could really stand this game without a LOT of the little annoyances being fixed, plus critical things that EA should have taken the time to fix and didn't. Also TwoJeffs is my second-favorite modder. He has fixes for annoyances and bugs that JM doesn't have. They compliment each other pretty well. Then a lot of them are hacked objects from around the web that don't do anything unless you click on them. After I install AL and get all my hacks updated, etc, I will have my game JUST the way I want it! That's one reason I believe I will never totally abandoned The Sims 2 for The Sims 3.

I have about 10,200 or so... it doesn't help that there is no bin for makeup and other things now.

Lol I'm an addict. I thought the make up bin disapeared with one of the EP's? It's a pain for sure because I only use a small percentage of whats in there. I have a huge lot of medieval cc..if you have ever looked at my old stories. Right down to defult cobble stone roads that I would like to move to desk top because it's a pain in my legacy pictures. It's weird because I still don't think I have enough clothes, especialy swimwear. I went and put on a toddler fun pack today, help, I need help! My computer must be pretty good because it still loads up ok, in about 7 minutes.

Well that's not too bad. When I first installed Bon Voyage, it started taking about 20 for the darn thing to load up! I swear it just about drove me nuts! Where in the world did you find a toddler fun pack? Sounds interesting...lol

wow...somewhere I didn't post. Tina I think I'm becoming addicted to your forum... I have too much cc and it's starting to slow down my game. I hate when my game starts to go slow but I love my cc

Heheh.... glad you see you posting more, Pixx! ;D I hope lots of people get addicted to the forum so it won't be so quiet here so often.... Time to save up for a bigger, faster computer, then you get even more stuff before the slowdown begins!

Since adding AL it seems to be taking about 9 minutes to load, so not too bad still. At least now I can get rid of the cc spiral stairs and some of the cc play ground equipment. hmmm wonder how many more clothes I can put on now....

Man I'll tell you something, when I got Bon Voyage, my game took FOREVER to load! And I don't think it had a thing to do with the custom content either. I would start it up and it would take about 20 freaking minutes to get to the neighborhood screen! Sheesh! Once I got Freetime, the game began loading WAY faster. I don't know what the problem was....

The same things happened to me, when I want to load up the old neighborhoods they TOOK FOREVER!!! But it's opposite with the ones that were added in Eps. Then I got AL and it seemed way faster with all the CC. I have becomed a CC addict. and still my game hasn't crashed, Well I just need to find out when to stop.
