Thanks for the reminder as I probably would have forgotten the Resource.cfg! I'm off to try that, If I'm not back soon, you know it worked as the house I am building (as I said before!) only has store stuff in it! ;D I have little hard drive space, since installing WA it is at 34%, I have lined my guy up to put this hard drive (my main hard drive!) in my other PC to replace the one thats not working, in it, as I will be putting all my Sims 2 on it, then he is installing a new bigger hard drive on this one (as it is my main PC!) 1 terabyte sata hard drive is being installed, then no worries!

OK, I need more info. Did all this happen after putting your Mods/Packages folder back in? It didn't happen on the vanilly game, did it?
You need to tell me EXACTLY what you did before having the game load that way.

On the Vanilla game, then the same with the few mods in! I thought it was not a good sign, maybe it is like the first disc & is a bad install, so I think I will have to re-install, at least the patches will not have to be re-downloaded! So it happened with no CC then again with CC!

Karima, are you making sure your anti-virus protection is disabled when you install the games? Also, have defragged lately? If it did it with the vanilla game, then you definitely need to try a fresh, clean installation.

Did you also defrag before reinstalling? Is it possible for you to post a screen shot of how it looks? Do you know how to use 'print screen' to take a pic of what's on your screen? I just don't understand what the heck is going on with your computer/game.

I defraged before & after, you should know by now I'm an excessive defrager, as it always makes the PC run better! I still have not been able to get print screen to work!

Okay, this may sound like a stupid question, but have you EVER used print screen on ANY computer and do you know how it works?

No, it is not a stupid Q, but I have followed all the tutorials on using the print screen button,to capture your page, I think I asked you once before, that I could not find were the print goes! (I'm dyslexic I need pictures to show me!) As you can guess I have never had Print screen work for me!

Well, Dyslexia has nothing to do with this. Okay, you know how you copy and paste things? Print screen works just like that. When you hit the print screen key, the image goes to your 'invisible' clipboard on your computer, just like anything else you highlight and copy. So, when you use print screen, it has to be 'pasted' somewhere in order to show. Any imaging editor will work, or even a Word document. The way I usually do it is this: Hit print screen to capture your image. It will be whatever is showing on your screen at the moment. Then go to Start-Programs-Accessories and scroll down and click on Paint. Once Paint opens, click 'edit'. Then scroll down to 'paste'. Voila! There's your picture! Now, the picture is going to be as big as your monitor, so you need to make it smaller. So... Click on Image at the top left of your screen and scroll down to Resize/Skew. A little box will open and you will see Horizonal and Vertical, both at 100%. You will want to change both of those to at least 80% to make the pic smaller and click OK. If you see a lot of white left over that is the same size as the pic was, then put your cursor on the far right corner of the white space and drag it toward the picture until all the white is gone. Then go to file and click 'save as'. Choose a location (I usually pic the desktop for easier finding) to save the pic. Now, you have a picture to upload to photobucket to share with others. Go ahead! Try it! It's fun and you'll like it! ;D
