You're welcome! I hope that works for you. Well, I am practically dancing a jig here! My no empty potty is actually working! ;D With THREE toddlers in the house, having a potty chair that starting reeking in green fog and spilling puddles on the floor after EVERY use was about to drive me bonkers! So, I decided to put it back in to see what happens and... it works and the parents can cuddle their toddlers without jumping out of the action! ;D Phew, what a relief! I'm going to dress everyone up for a family portrait soon, so I can show you my sweet little family.

I got the error code too, so I am going to go take another look in my folders, could it be the 'Installer monkey' I should delete that as I do not us it but was told to get it to install the framework for the 'Awesome' mod, which reminds me, I must go to MATY, to see if the new 'Awesome'mod is ready! When I install the game & check it out, when do I put my 'Mod' folder back in, & do I have to get ride of my Cache folders so my stuff works? It took three & a half hours to install the newest patch! I am now ready to install WA, but I am still scared!

The last time I was at MATY, a couple of days ago, an updated version of Awesomemod was not out, but I don't know about now. I don't use that because I don't feel the need for it at this point in time. I know absolutely NOTHING about the Monkey, but if you don't use it, you should uninstall it because it's just taking up space...lol. Is your game still acting stupid, with ghosts and naked people, etc? If so, I'd save a copy of the TS3 folder to the desktop, save the Mod/Packages folder to the desk top, and then uninstall/reinstall the base game before adding the expansion. Something is clearly wrong with your game, Karima.

OK, Tina I will do,about the weirdness of my game I don't know, as I was making a twin of Toby(with normal skin & blue eyes!) as Toby is a vamp!Sims 3 style! I was then building, so I don't know about the glitches, then I was updating the game with the new patches,so I will save my game folders & re-install, thank goodness it is only one disc! ;D

Yeah, that is the good thing right now about reinstalling... ONE disc! I saved my stuff and was fully prepared to reinstall if it screwed things up for me. Luckily, that wasn't necessary. After you reinstall, get the patches, and then open the game and play it 'vanilla' for a bit to see if it is actiing right. After that, you can start putting certain folders from your old TS3 folder into new TS3 folder. I'd only do a few at a time and then play to see if the game is still acting the way it's supposed to act. Whatever you do, go slowly and carefully, so that if the problem with the 'naked clothing' comes back, you'll be able to more easily figure out which file may be causing the issue.

OK, I'm back after doing everything, I know I did it right because all my pics & everything are showing up as normal, but I am defraging at the moment,& I am scared as there is too much red in there, even more than Suckyrom! I still have not played my game yet, as it has taken since yesterday afternoon(3.00pm AU!)I feel asleep when I was trying to play WA as it had ANOTHER update!(I feel asleep while updating!) I thought I would pop in here while it is Defraging, then I will go & have a Vanilla WA to explore! You know what, most people would give up by now, what a hassle to install a game! ;D I will add CC as I go along, on your directions, as I do not need any CC for my build at this time, as it is all game stuff I'm using, the nude cloths were EA only the only CC was his hair !!! maybe it was the skin it's self as it is a default!but if that was the case everyone in my game would be running around like it was a nudist camp! ~PS~ Awesome mod,may take awhile as Pescado, said he has to remake it, as the previous one is no longer compatible for the game, so he is remaking it, as it can not be updated!

@nudist camp! Well, who knows? Maybe the 'naked' sim just got glitched somehow by not removing your mods when you installed the patch or something. Jill has told me that she's gotten her game sorted now, which is a good thing. She thinks she got a bad hair download from XM Sims or something. I haven't downloaded anything from there yet, but I did go there this morning to look and that pop up that says my PC is full of viruses and wants to run a scan! I immediately re-booted my computer to make that thing go away!

LOL... have fun, Karima!
Well, there was most certainly SOMETHING in your game that caused that sim to be dressed that way. You may have to go through your mods folder and put stuff back in a little at time, testing the game in between. Then if it happens again, you'll have a better idea of what was causing it.
Just always remember to remove your mods folder whenever you patch or install an EP. Also remember to replace any other game files you've replaced with modded ones for the orginals.

Good Luck, Karima! I didn't need to uninstall my helper monkey. Basically it just installs the cc files into the game for you. The monkey itself is in a completely different location than the game, and as I re-installed my cc bit by bit, it works just fine in the folders the monkey set up, as well as my own folders that I added.

Karima has trouble with the helper monkey because she has trouble double clicking on the files. That's why she quit using it. I don't use it because I don't need it. I just set up my own files and replaced the Resource.cfg file with the one they uploaded on MTS, and I manually put all my stuff in the folders. I don't have that much stuff yet, except hair. That limited collection EA laid on us sort of sucks...lol, especially the NO toddler hair policy. That was really a sad sight!

That depends, Karima, on how much hard drive space is free on your computer. If you have plenty of free space, having TS2 installed should have nothing to do with how TS3 is running. What you're saying is going on in TS3 doesn't seem to point to that being an issue. Don't worry about your house. If you saved a copy of your TS3 folder to your desktop, your house will be in there and you can put it back in the game. Is the house you're trying to load the one you are currently building?

No, the house I am building, I go into 'Edit Mode' to build without disturbing my current house hold, which is the one I am trying to access, it is one of the trailers in Riverview! & it only has five CC items in it,his hair, chin strap, the bed & dresser & a backless shower! I may have one pattern that is CC in his cloths!

Wow, you have custom objects too, eh? I don't have any of those yet, except store items. You'll probably have to put that stuff back into your game before you can get into that house, unless you move them from the hood screen and sell their furniture.
Don't forget to replace the Resource.cfg in the Sims 3 folder in your program files with the one uploaded to MTS when you do put your mods/packages folder back in, or it won't work.
