Status update

Still here, but on my boyfriend's Dad's notebook computer to catch up on the internet. So hi everyone!

Jo, hope the cleaning and the visit go/went well for you.

We're being driven home today, rather than getting the train like usual, so I'll hopefully have a little time to sim later on. Typical that I feel creative when my laptop and my chapter are miles away. Oh well, my note paper is getting lots of use, at least.

It's actually a stay rather than just a visit, but my FIL is staying over at my SIL house while my MIl is staying with us. They have come over to help out with the new shop. DH apprentice has had to go back to do another stint at his college course. It's a part time thing that he has to go to for a few weeks each term.

Ah right, hope it all went well for you all, sounds like everyone's chipping in to help. I didn't know you had a new shop, how's it going? And congrats on the simsecret about the Mobacy, nice to see stories I know and love in there for once. ;D

Well, I'm back at home, cold and ready to sim. It's been a great weekend but I have missed writing and simming.

Thanks Amy ;D I'm wondering if Lorin put up that secret as I know she just read that chapter. But yes it makes my day to see that and a couple of nice comments in the comment section. Makes me want to get on with the new chapter!

Did I forget to mention the shop? Dh has gone into a shared deal with the ink cartridge guy. The place is like a rabbit warren You think you’re at the back but then there is another door and yet another. Steve is really worked off his feet, but we hope the shop will help as he can keep his bookwork stuff there rather than taking up half our dining room and when his brother comes to do the books he can think without our kids being there as they are at home.
Also the old guy he's gone into with can also cut basic keys off a blank so he said he would do some of those for us. I think dh is going to give him a percentage of the price for those. Although Mr Minute just opened up in the mall (The competition) so we will see what that does to the workflow. Although right now, I think a little less of people saying "When is my job going to be done?!" and "Can't this be done yesterday!" Would be good!

I just exited out of my game. It was coughing and sputtering and acting like it was about to go down like the Hindenburg.

Well, I haven't been on in soooo long!
But, as an update I've been super busy. I'm in my junior year, and people aren't kidding when they say junior year is the hardest. That plus I'm in all college classes. Add swimming to all that, and attempting to keep my social life alive.

I really haven't done simming lately. I had some glitches so I uninstalled LN, then realized I don't have the installation code. So I've been too sad to open up sims and not see all my late night stuff.

Hi Sarie, good to see you posting! ;D Your life sounds very busy, hope you're not working yourself too hard. Wow, TS3 sounds like it's giving everyone problems at the moment, hope it gets sorted out for you all!

Yay, into my last working week before my week off next week when we move three streets away. Hoping to update sims on Wednesday or Thursday this week, fingers crossed.

My game crashed again. I was nearly finished for the night and clicked the neighbourhoood button to check out some new hair in CAS and >crash< It's becoming more often again. Anyway I am dead beat, so I'm off to bed.
