Jilly, that sounds bad. The way to go would be to do what we did. Computer parts have come way down as in half the price of what we paid two years ago, so get someone to take a look who makes computers and just get part of it replaced. We got a new motherboard, hard drive, CPU, and a new modem for $500.

Also are you sure it's the cc and not the site? Since getting this PC Tools spyware Dr it's picking up things left, right and centre.
I think most come from the pop ups that come from downloading sites, not from the cc itself. It's also frequently blocking sites.
I've always even when using AVG had all downloads scanned as they go to my desktop and they have always been clean. I have over 20,000 downloads, so I think that’s a pretty good test that the cc itself is safe from viruses.
I'm amazed at how many low grade adware type things the antivirus finds, as in anywhere from 3-25 per day. Mostly on the low end, but I've had at least one medium worm since the reformat.

I can't wait to show of two particular babies. ;D One of them is the most exciting genetic combo I've had in awhile. Although he's only a baby right now...so maybe once he becomes a toddler he won't be so exciting. But I have high hopes! ;D
I'm never to sure if I should do tot spam or wait for the chapter. If everyone gets to see them first before the chapter, then it kind of takes away from that. Of course if they had seen them last chapter I probably would.
Seems like a lot of stuff is happening to people around LJ now.

PC tools is what found the bug the last time for me, but this time it didn't catch it. I'm thinking that, because I downloaded the cc at work & put it on my flash drive, then downloaded from the flash drive into my home pc, that it missed being scanned.

I've had problems with things from TSR before, and everything was fine before I put that stuff in.

What I don't get is that it's acting like the same virus, but this time pc tools didn't get it out.

DH knows how to build pcs, so him rebuilding is an option we're looking at.

Well my status is I am still sick. Started with feeling dizzy with stomach pains the other day when I was doing the chapter and now it's turned into a cold with stomach pains. Hope I feel better tomorrow, my massage lady is due.

I hadn't even heard about a hidden hood. You had to pay for it? What does it include? Sounds poor.

Well I still have a house of sickies, dd did a major chuck up last night, but feels better now. I still have a head cold, but I'm on the mend.

Hidden Springs is a new downloadable hood, like Barnacle Bay. They promised fairies and magic, and did NOT deliver. I won't be so quick to to this next time. They are charging $25 for this one. A giant, giant rip off.
