Jo, no, not a garden club member. lol He had to marry a simself, because of the simself mania mini-challenge Tina, that must be frustrating to have a landscaper who had no knowledge of plants. I know I'd be upset. Especially since I'm terrible with plants, even though everyone else in my family have 'green thumbs'.

Well, what she did looked good... until the plants grew up. She seemed to have no clue as to how big the plants would get. She said they would be much smaller than they turned out to be, which ended up making everything look too crowded once they matured. Ah well, we have taken care of the problem ourselves and it looks much better now.

;D I get Psoriasis of the skin on & of it also is one type of arthritis I have! But I ramble Sorry! I use it for that! The Aloe your sister used must not have been pure as Aloe does not sting & I have used it on many an opened wound !! the plant would be very beneficial to your sister as it is very soothing to put the gel on aggravated skin! It also takes the heat out of burns! I do hope you can find some plants AS I think it is like a first aid kit! Gots to have one! My sister said she cannot use aloe vera since her husband thinks it's bad - he's against using plants for that type of thing. Just when I thought he couldn't be more of a pain. Tina, that happened to a neighbour of ours here. She had a landscaper do her yard, and now most of her plants are getting choked by the few that grew up to be monstrous.

He must not love her much, as a person suffering, you will find & do just about anything for relief or a cure! I know I would, maybe if you find the plant yourself, & when she visits try some when your BI is not around it is your sis after all is said & done!If you can not find it let me know as we have a place here in OZ that sells plants through the post!

I'd say there's little to no love in their relationship, and no respect either. - She found out an hour after she got married that she didn't really love him and that he didn't love her either. Just about everyone who has ever met, seen, or heard of her condition are always trying to do something to help her! I just don't understand her husband's reasoning about the plant thing. I'll keep looking for the plant. I'll see her again in August, since we are all traveling together (not looking forward to being in a van with B-I-L for a few days) to go to a wedding. Perhaps, I'll have found the plant by that time.

A $1 simself! Well that is unusual, how did you manage that? Did you townify them? I find simselves usualy come with about 20,000 from the group simself house.

Yeah, it just seemed wrong that she only brought with her $1; no they're not townified. Maybe it's a glitch, I haven't a clue why this occured. Right now they are split into 2 houses (4 in one, 5 in the other).

;D ;D That will be good for you,(less stress!) & a bonus for us(the WYDC!)I really do not know what to say about the brother-in-law!!!!!! I'm both looking forward and regretting my sister leaving tomorrow for numerous reasons. I'll miss her, and my crazy nephew - he's behaving very well now that B-I-L left; not done anything much wrong/bad. I don't even know what to say about my B-I-L! Nothing good that's certain, and what I've said of him is just small needle off a large pine tree. WYDC is a bonus?! Thanks. I look forward to getting back to my sort of regular updates, and a more normalize schedule...although altered due to necessity of losing at least 10 lbs (4 kg?) before August 1! There's no way I'm going to see people I haven't seen in 10+ years without dropping some of the 25 lbs I gained recently. Pix, thank you for reading my WYDC - and for commenting!

As long as you are losing the weight because you want too! you will make it, I was always putting some-one on a diet in our family, the best thing is to eat small portions frequently (six small meals is better than three!) as it keeps you metabolic rate on its toes! & always be positive!
