The 'stay everything shrub' isn't always a good idea when a lot is corrupted though. It may cause whatever is borking the lot to stay too...lol Sue, don't worry about getting banned, or reprimanded from here for going 'off topic'. We are very loose here and just enjoy talking...lol. Besides, how can you really go 'off topic' in thread that is titled 'bored'? Have you moved them back in yet? If I were you, I'd just move them back into the same house, get a phone, and immediately find out if the problem is fixed before decorating the whole house again. If it's still broken, then the lot is irreparably broken and you'll need to move into a different one. I don't know why lots get borked like that sometimes, but they just do. As for money, you can always kaching them a few times to make up for what they lost due to the borkedness.

Karima, I've had issues occur due to using the "stay" shrub, I have it, but I don't put it in my downloads folder unless I know I need to use it. by the way: my sister and my father both have dyslexia(sp?), so I can totally understand. Plus, I have my own learning disability which strongly affects my memory; which in turn affects so much more.
Tina, I did move him back in and immediately tried to see if everything that was problematic worked, and everything was fine. I moved most of the stuff into inventory, but forgot about some things on the second floor and thus lost a bit of money, but it's all ok; he has the necessities. I don't mind at all when my sims have to struggle some. I just wanted some decoration for the wedding, but it'll do as is.
I've never had an issue with a lot happen like that before, and hope I never do again. I spent too many hours trying to figure out what was going on with this since Friday. Now, I've gotta go spend the rest of the day with family, no more sim related things for me for a few days at least.

Well, I'm glad it's all working for you now. You are lucky to have never had a lot get borked like that before. It has happened to me on several occasions and it's possible it'll happen to you again sometime in the future because it's just one of those things, but next time you'll know what all to try to test it and fix it.

I probably haven't had lot problems before, because I'm still quite very new to TS2. Plus, most of my households in the past, I got bored with after a generation or two.

Karima, I have played a few challenges that were 4 or 5 generations long, but I've never made it past 5 (longest was Apocalypse Challenge). I've attempted a legacy a few times, but usually don't make it past a generation or two before I'm bored. Maybe if I write it, I wouldn't get so bored with it - maybe next time. I do have a really neat idea for doing a Legacy Challenge that might help too. Maybe when I'm done with my current challenges. Lynda, I'm sure I'd panic if I saw floating in my game too.

I wish I could float around in RL. Then I wouldn't have to worry about my poor, aching feet!

Heh heh... you said 'bush.' <<--- Beavis and butthead. Tina, it might be time for a new story, and a new legacy. Louis and the rest, they're timeless. They'll never die. I actually think about your earlier stories sometimes, because they're SO interesting and they're inspiring. I deleted my other legacy neighborhood. ::gaaah!:: and I was up to gen 7. But I am cooking along with the new neighborhood/ legacy. I'd write a story, but I don't want to take the trouble to upload it anywhere, lol.

You know I was sure I just posted and it's not here. I was saying, Sue we are a pretty relaxed bunch here. You would have to be saying something rather awful to get banned. And the $1, was she a garden club member? All of them as far as I know bring in $1 and no skills, not even a gold gardening badge. Rip off!
