OMG, Don't mention Vertigo!! I've had that problem since 1999! I had a stroke! I'm all better, but the vertigo still lingers! It makes it scary to take a shower! I have to have one of those sit down seats! Hair: Mine is down to my waiste, but the strange thing is, my original hair is straight as a bord, but the white is curley like pipe curls! Whats up with that?? I have always wanted curls, but white that you can't find a good color for, I don't think so!!! I'm due for a trim, maybe to my shoulder blades, maybe even a layer! Yah, I think thats the way to go!

Vertigo ugg, I get that too. My Nuro said it might be from the knock on my head when I fell of the horse those years ago. Who knows. Curly, that's interesting, mine are as straight as sticks..if I left them for any time. See and pluck.

"10 more grow back"....lol
I have a bad habit of plucking out hairs that I don't like. It forces me to put my hair up which will just end up causing breakage..lose/lose. Having my hair long like this is giving me headaches, but I just can't work up the courage to cut it off again.
I've been so bored today that I've managed to scratch the injection site (getting weekly allergy shots) on my arm to the point that it's raw, and just a moment ago I burnt my tongue/lip/chin from dessert. I know I need to go to sleep but can't...terrible summer insomnia! Maybe if I actually turn this computer off and shove it back in the attic I'll at least rest my sore self...while holding ice to my face and arm...Awkward! Just when I thought my day couldn't possibly have gotten any worse - 'glares @ nephew'.

I haven't noticed 10 more, thankfully. What is that nephew of yours up to Sue? Have you tried some aloe-vera? The visit hasn't been too good I take it?

;D As Jo said Sue.....Aloe Vera, is good for your aggravated skin at the injection site & is the best thing for burns as it heals with minimal scaring ! Us Aussies tend to use Aloe Vera & Tea Tree oil as well as Eucalyptus oil liberally for any skin ailment!

Lynda: The ice is for the burning/swelling in my face and arm from the inflicted injuries. My nephew is not quite 2 1/2. The summer insomnia is starting to make me crazy. As soon as the sun starts to raise, I'm wide awake. Plus, I can't seem to get to sleep no matter how tired I am. I don't function too well on less than 8 hours of sleep, but during the summer I'm lucky if I can manage to get 4 hours.
Jo: My nephew has been up to anything and everything he can be. Anything that can be spilled has been, anything that can be torn apart has been. My nephew needs some proper direction and guidance from his parents, but his dad doesn't believe in that type of thing. He thinks kids should just do as they please without consequence, because that's how he was raised. Completely insane! Of course, all he does is sit on the couch and sulk (refuses to even eat or drink anything except the water he brought with him). The visit will go better once he goes back home tomorrow evening. My sister and nephew would stay forever if they could.
I haven't tried any aloe vera. I'll have to see if I even have any. Thanks for the suggestion Jo and Karima.
The burns aren't too bad, but my arm is a completely different story. I burnt my tongue/lip/chin on a dessert that has cream inside. I heated it too long and ate right away, so the cream was probably about boiling temperature and ended up dribbling out of my mouth because it was soo hot. Oh well. The family is out again today...yay! Er, maybe not 'yay' cause I'm already bored and it's only 8:15 am.

I always have an Aloe Vera growing in a pot, fresh is best! As for you nephew! my sisters brought their children up that way as we were raised the opposite way, so they refused to discipline their children, But when they were at my house they had to abide by my rules otherwise they were not welcome, those same girls (my sisters only had girls!) adore me, some more than others, so it all turned out OK! ;D

Karima, I may go out later in the week after my guests leave, and see if I can get an aloe vera plant somewhere.
My nephew mostly behaves poorly when his dad is around because he knows he can get away with it. Once he leaves tomorrow, the behavior will improve somewhat. However, not entirely. He'll still open the fridge and dump stuff on the floor when no one's paying strict attention, and push buttons on any electronic devices (tv, computer, sound system, etc). I'm hoping once his dad starts working full time again that my sister willl be able to manage some better control. My nephew is too smart for his own good - that is half the problem (other half fault is his dad and upbringing).
Sarie, what are you so confused about?
