Bored

I'm on my computer most of the day, since I have to be online to receive work - it is emailed to me and done at home. Which leaves me very bored a lot of the time waiting for an email to come in. Work has been nearly non-existant for months now, but I still have to wait for it since the deadlines are very tight.

;D Even though you are bored at the moment (aren't we ALL!) you are getting your work sent to you, Sue my son wants to work from home too! but he first has to finish his course (Online learning!)he is working in the great outdoors at the moment & is actually loving it!

Karima, in the past 6 months I've had one assignment, made $20...work has been terribly slow. Fortunately, I saved everything I could the months prior to this time. If it keeps up past August, I'll be forced to get a real job. I love working from home, since I have severe seasonal allergies (spring/summer), and shouldn't go outside at all from February to the end of September...according to the allergiest.
What kind of course is your son taking? -If you don't mind my asking.

Pixx, I eat when I'm bored too. Which when combined with the two surgeries I had in December and January, I've gained 25 lbs (11 kg). Fortunately, I'm still very slender, just out of shape since I couldn't exercise at all.

I can't gain weight. I eat like a bear and weigh only 90lbs. I hardly exercise so I'm out of shape. I used to be able to drop right into a split but I tried the other day and nearly died!!!

;D My son Aaron is learning IT & he already knows how to pull down a PC & put it back together, he even worked doing that for a while,so now he is learning about what goes on in side! When he finishes that he wants to go further & learn Graphic Art( which was what I wanted to do!) he already has a few certificates,which would get him a job in that Field! Right now! ;D

Sue, I meant to say, that is not good, that work is that slow, is it because of the recession? I do hope things pick up, for your healths sake at least!

I used to be that way when I was in my teens and early twenties, I couldn't gain weight for anything. But after going through a highly stressful circumstance my metabolism got wrecked, and now I can gain weight. My sister was the same way, until she nearly died last year.

I wanted to do Graphic Art too, but I don't have any real talent in that way. Although, I'm a very quick learner, and I know I wouldn't have had any problems learning it at all I'm sure.

Karima, yes, it is because of the recession.

Well, I WAS bored, but I just played Animal Crossing online with my fav niece on our Wii's. There's something wrong with mine - I can go to her town, but it won't let her come to mine. It was a lot of fun, but that game makes my vertigo flare up, so now I'm dizzy, and bored again! Lol!

I agree. Even if it is fun, don't do something that makes you feel like that! Not fun that you are bored again though...I'm bored too. I seriously need something to do to waste one more hour before I gotta put my nephew to bed.
