yeah they did but they never found anything. my mum told me earlier that my cousin was in hospital about a month ago coz he was havong mini fits and they did loads of tests and still didnt find anything either

Your mum needs to make sure the place is using the latest most up todate machine. Older machines miss things. 8 years ago they gave me the all clear after my EEG. The new machine is what showed up scar tissue on one side. Then because of that they sent me for an MRI which showed up the PH very clearly.

Well my Nuro rang this morning and she had been reading and ringing around. She does come across as a decent Dr, apart from not reading before that appt. Anyway she knows another Dr who is interested in doing some research so we may yet be able to get a MRR with a child specilist for dd and some Dr in New Zealand may do the gene test on my blood sample. Just depends on if it's something we are trying to get (pricey) or if someone is interested for purely research purposes. (maybe free since we are in away doing them a favor by giving them our Superior genes  ) |

If we could get the MRI for Sarah and she copes with it ok; it would certainly tell us one way or the other if she has the condition.

Yeah I know.  But then I think maybe kids might handle it better even. I explianed it to her a bit, about having the thing against your head to be still and how the bed takes you into the tunnel so it can take a picture of your brain. You know what she said..."Cool!" |

That's awesome! I know they now have open MRI's, without the tunnel, as an option, too.

They definitely have them here. There's an MRI place that specializes in them near my mom's house. I don't know if they cost differently, and I've only had the tunnel ones, but it's something to ask about.
