She's hangng in there. Thanks for asking, Jo!  The poor woman has this big cup thing she has to wear over her ear to protect it and catch drainage. She was having to wear it all day and night, but for the past two days, she's been able to take it off during the day and just wear it at night. That worst thing is that she hasn't been able to sleep very well. She had to spend the first four days sleeping with her head elevated above her heart, so she's been camping out in her favorite chair. Tonight is the first night since the surgery that she's able to actually sleep in her bed. Hopefully she'll get a good night's sleep. |

That's the thing after surgery, just when you really need to sleep you can't. They should just give you something to make you sleep I think.

Thanks Jo.  Well, she has some pretty good painkillers which should help in the sleep department, but they're not. They just seem to make her more talkative...lol |
