You and me both pixx, those things are creepy. Like one of those things you see in scary movies....you know, you see something move out the corner of your eye, and look in that direction only to discover theres nothing there, then you see a shadow, hovering above and you look up and see the ceiling is covered with them, and there's no time to move, all you can do is scream before they all drop down on you...(Shudders).

The house my father built came with silver fish eggs on the wood, because the came out when he was building and they always had them after that. Nasty things, they eat your books or anything paper.

I never knew what silverfish did. I always thought they were water bugs, so they eat books and paper huh? No wonder I couldn't get rid of them, my house is full of books!

You know... I think I like bees better than all the creepy crawlers this thread has switched to discussing! *shiver* I always wondered what cockroaches eat and wondered how they could survive if your house was clean. An exterminator told me once that as long as there is a water source, they could survive indefinitely. Ewww...! Thank goodness I've never had a cockroach problem in my current home! We have gotten a few ants in on occasion though. They are also annoying little critters when they want to come inside.

My brother bred cockroaches, it was hilarous, you'd walk into his reptile room and you could hear the hundreds of them making their clicking sound. I think he killed half of them by freezing them outside during winter, , he also had soft fur rats and quails.
