We have ONE nice day after it being cold enough to freeze hell over and... OUT COME the BEES! It wouldn't be so bad, but I can't walk outside without having a whole horde of them flying around my head! Sheesh! They have the whole world to go play in so why do they have to bother me? It is supposed to get up to 62 degrees here today. It's beautiful and sunny and would be perfect if not for all the bees!

Hope you don't have a nest on your house or something. I like bees they don't normaly bother me, but flying around my head would!

We don't have a nest on our house, but we do live out in the country so I'm sure there are some nests in some nearby trees/bushes/whatever...lol. I don't like bees, but bees seem to LOVE me! They are always buzzing around me for some reason. Maybe it's because they KNOW I don't like them...lol In the summer, we get lots of wasps, which I hate even more than bees! *cringe* Those suckers can actually float on our pool and then get up and fly away.

I generally find with bees if you ignore them they ignore you, unless you are really close to a nest. Wasps though there mean, ornary nasty critters! That sting for no good reason. Poor Sarah got stung twice at the park last year when she went buy a nest in the shrub we didn't see. Her first stings! Poor baby cried and cried.

Poor little thing! Those stings hurt too! Well, the bees won't leave me alone! I'll be sitting in my chair minding my own business and they just buzz around me one at a time...lol It's like they think I'm a flower or something!

Lol, Tina. That must suck, I don't like anything that buzzes around my face or head.
I've been bitten by a wasp in a very sensitive place before, I cried and cried (was 3 or 4 at the time) hurt so much. Since then, haven't been bitten or stung, although I don't go outside very much... And I don't go near trees or bushes. *nods* That's the way to be.
And, wasps in pools are very scary! This one time, we had one dive bomb into our hot tub, and it died instantly, lol! It was kind of funny.

I'd like to have seen that! Man in the summer, we can barely enjoy our pool because of the wasps landing on it. The neighbor next door has this large wooden out building which is wide open and we believe the wasps nest there and then come to our pool. The guy who comes to spray for bugs says they chew on our tree leaves and then take water into their mouths to make pulp which is what they make their nests with. When he sprayed our tree, a whole lot of the nasty buggers started dying. Also I got stung on the cheek by a bumble bee when I was about three or four years old. Hurt like crazy! I think that is part of the reason I'm so traumatized by bees now...LOL

I'm allergic to bee's, wasp's, anything that stings on bites! The worst is yellow flies & fire ants! I still have scars on my legs from last summer! I just hate bugs period!

@pixx... Well my shampoo doesn't smell like any kind of food or anything, flowers either, I don't think. Plus I have switched shampoos several times and it doesn't seem to matter. Those bees like me anyway...lol. I also go out of my way to not wear any sort of perfume or cologne when I know bees will be around. I think they know I hate them so they head right for me. Oh I hate all bugs too Lynda! Especially the flying ones, but spiders come in a close second...lol

:DThere's enough Black widows around here to kill an army, but they don't bother me to much, there slow! Now the flying kind, "Shiver" Those are the ones I can't stand, thank goodness I'm a really good aim with a flyswatter! Poor George, he never seems to kill anything with one, and then I get upset because he let it get away! Now the boy's just call me, because I never miss!

Centipedes are my most hated bugs, spiders, I can kill easily, but CENTIPEDES! I used to find at least 3 a WEEK in my room. *shudder* They climb up the walls and stuff... But now my cat kills them and leaves them dead on the carpet for me to find.... Thanks kitty.

Cats can be so useful! I love my kitties! *shiver* Black Widows don't bother me most time... unless I see one! I'm aways afraid I am going stick my hand on one when we are out doing yard work or something and get bitten. *cringe* I don't care to go to the hospital with a Black Widow bite. I also don't like those creepy, crawly things with thousands of legs... ugh!

I've NEVER seen a black widow in person... Maybe they don't live here? Dunno.
But there's lots of Wolf Spiders up here, and also, I found a really creepy spider once on my brother's window (outside of course) It was about 3in in diameter and had translucent yellowish white legs with black stripes on them. It's web was much like a trantula's and it had orange on it's back! That thing freaked me out so much, and my guy friend insisted on poking it's web with a stick!
