thats sad because a couple of years ago there was a rumour saying they'd do the movie of "the right hand of evil" but they never did it I can't wait to read his last book (faces of fear) but I have to wait till july because I buy it in paperback ... it's about a serial killer!!!

Those serial killer stories creep me out, but I like them! I guess it's good that I like to be creeped out since Stephen King is my favorite author...lol

I tried to read some of his books but I just can't like his style. I don't know why... go figure...

Oh really? Wow. Well I guess you're either a King fan, or you're not. I love his style. He even makes some things seem a bit comical at times!

I read maybe 10 of his books and some of them it took me 2 or 3 times to finish them because I just couldn't get into it. :s but like you say : you are a fan or you're not. Can't be neutral

My favorite book by Mr. King is The Long Walk... It's his VERY first book, but didn't get published till after, got turned down the first time or so. It's about this huge competition where they have 100 boys who choose to do this death walk, and there ends up being 1 at the end, and his prize is he gets anything he wants. It's pretty brutal.

Wow Nicole, unless I did and forgot as I tend to do sometimes...lol.. I don't think I've read that one. I'll have to look it up.
I actually like The Dark Tower series by him too whereas a lot of people don't because it's so far away from his usual style.

See, yeah, lots of people I know LOVE that series, I find it hard to get through 5 pages.
But his others, Cell in particular just suck me in. :/

I had Crissy try reading it and she was like you. She read for a bit, but couldn't really get into it. I own and have read them all. Once the series was finished, I actually read the ones I'd already read again so I could read them all through in order. lol

Now, I'm reading so many things it's not funny! Okay, it is. A Break With Charity -- Basically about the Salem Witch Trials and what not. Breaking Dawn -- No need to explain. I'm rereading it. Midnight Sun -- Effing awesome. Fifth one in the Twilight Series. Nightrise -- A good book about kids with special powers who are supposed to save the world.
