I'm going to actually turn off this abominable computer and turn in early tonight. Like my mood icon says, I'm whooped!  Please feel free to party, socialize, have fun, and boogie in my absence but... don't forget to turn off the lights and lock up when you leave.  lol Catch y'all tomorrow! ;D |

I didn't get home until 10. I had a wake to go to, which I hit right from work. You think I'd be smart & just go to sleep? Naw, I've got to putz around here & feed my Discourses addiction first! Awesome! I felt bad for killing him off, but I actually made 2 of him in my town, 1 regular simself & 1 merman king. So he's still one of my "Moonies"in his simself version. I'm looking forward to seeing him in Woop Woop!

I'm on early too-grrr fighting having to go to work-today we're having our Christmas party, I should be happy, but I'm not-I'm always nervous at socials where people of authority will be in attendance. My direct boss is okay, and her boss is okay-until he gets in his quiet, I wanna be locked in my office moods. Help me...

Uh oh... good luck Merci! Is it a dry party, or is alcohol involved? I would only be worried if there were drinks and I had a few. I tend to get a bit silly when partaking in that sort of thing. |

No drinks (except maybe Pepsi), but these are all college professors, and Deans. That's why I'm nervous, I tend to clam up and say the wrong thing because they always tend to ask me questions that seem to put me on the spot and I don't quite know how to respond. When I do respond with something clever, and they laugh, or agree I try to get away before they say something else, bt usually they say something else and I'm stuck.

Hehehe... I know what you're saying. Certain types of people to tend to put other types of people on edge that way. All you can do is to just be yourself and hope for the best most of the time. Ack! lol When you feel someone may be smarter or more worldly than yourself, it does have a way of making one feel self-conscious. I hate that feeling.  |
