I thought they were normaly after work, especialy if there is alcohole. I hate things like that I would use any excuse to get away after about 10 minutes.  |

I went and I'm back-Hey thanks for the cheerleading Mae, Tee and Jo. So, I did have one of those experiences where I kinda wanted to shrink, and inch away. I didn't shrink, but I did inch away (sort of). Then there was the sitting at the table with the boss and the BIG wigs (well medium sized wigs). I wanted to sit elsewhere but I was so sweetly invited, and not wanting to be rude I sat, and of couse felt totally out of place. Near the end I sat with a group of people with whom I am more comfortable, and watched one of them open mouth and insert foot.

Well, it's easy to miss certain replies sometimes. That's why one should never get offended or feel as if they're being ignored by someone unless it happens repeatedly and often. Ack! Now I have to go get ready to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. Talk about something making a person feel old...   lol

Thank you Jo! It was pretty special. We took her out to dinner and she ordered her first legal drink in the US, a mango martini. I had a caramel appletini. Then we came home had icecream and cake and then opened presents. Now I'm pooped! |
