What do you think about my not maxis but technically maxis outfits, Jo? And ones that are Maxis outfits but made top or bottom only, are we allowed those?

If you mean Maxis full outfits that have been seperated (so the top from outfit one with the jeans from outfit two) I think we could allow that. What do you think of that Esme? Lorin, anyone else?

I think that should be fine, point being Maxis made the stuff in the first place.

And stuff I downloaded from MTS that is from the EPs/SPs that I don't have. So it's based on Maxis content and looks the same, but has its own stand alone mesh, and comes under custom in my game.

I have a lot of those items from EPs I don't have too, Amy. If I can't buy the SP/EP, I'll darn well make it out of stuff that's out there.

I think I'm OK with separated Maxis items (I'l probably use some myself if we decide they're OK), but I thought all the Maxis items on MTS were modified somehow: age conversions, shoe swaps, mesh modifications, and the like. I'm not sure about that... I second the request for pictures.

Hmm, most of it I seem to have deleted or moved when I redid my game. The only definite one I could find was the AL long dress on the top left, the other 3 in this picture I think might be age conversions or edits.

The two on the right are definitely age conversions -- I have them too. Since they're converted from teen outfits, the mesh has been modified. I don't know about the other two, though.

All of those except the lower right hand male is a maxis outfit. The right hand lady looks to be Maxis with a shoe swap I think.

The male outfit is a TSS top converted for adults, and possibly separated, I can't remember. The pink dress is originally a TSS dress, but Amy's and my version has been converted for adults. I'd be inclined to say that since there have been changes to the meshes, we should leave these out of the running. (It will affect me too...)

This is why using Maxis is so hard, what with age convertions and defaults. If I'm using defaults it doesn't seem fair for you both not to use age conversions, but TS3 conversions no, this is about Sims 2. I think so long as it's recognized or can be shown to be a sims 2 outfit it is okay. How about 2 per picture to give the same as my defaults?

What is TSS exactly? Sims Social? Having a blank moment. It's only 7am.

Since you put it that way (defaults and conversions being similar in terms of allowableness) I'm OK with saying either two defaults, two age conversion/shoe swap/similar minor change items, or one of each. So, for example, I could use one default and one age conversion, if I had any defaults. Does that make sense and sound fair?
