The internet certainly can be. I decided to open Davis and Candice Ottomas's flat instead and what do I realize on aging the baby-clone! Again! I'm still forgetting to randomize. At least they are a boy and a girl but still. You can really see those Ottomas genes at work around the eyes. Going on sim motivation that I am using now, David, Bradley and Michelle are all average but his wife Candice (was a townie teen) is high motivation which makes things more interesting. She can work and prod her children and use any means she wants (non cheating ones) to try and make her children grow up better than they might otherwise. Right now she is trying to learn gardening so she can serve them up eggplant juice for breakfast. Her LTW is to be a criminal as well, so the hood better watch out, devious and smart. David is the towns pest exterminator. Giving Him grilled cheese as a secondary was not a smart move- it's all he rolls most the time! Given that I can only have an average motivated sim skill if they roll the want means that when David is not tending his or the children’s needs he does this... "Boo, ram his head into the goal post you slacker!" Yep he's a typical lazy guy who watches sport or lazes on the couch. he even did that when Candice did the birthday tosses. I'm wondering what such a driven smart woman like her sees in him. Maybe she knows he wouldn't rat her out and doesn't ask any questions. The neighbours at their flat are somewhat strange however luckily David did roll a want to play chess! *falls over* and that guy joined him and next thing I know I'm getting a pop up that he's the boss's cousin and David will be getting a promotion. ;D Bradley Michelle

What on earth is that sim in the garden doing? I need to move the Ottomas family into my new hood, they're sitting in the sim bin yet again. Your motivation rating does make it all sound interesting, typical that the most motivated one is a criminal! Candice is very pretty, too, but those are definitely Ottomas children. Yeah, I still haven't gone in my game... *hides* I was downloading curtains instead yesterday.

Well my afternoon was taken up majorly with a phone call from our area teacher so she could write down all the books I have bought/ have coming for this year etc, so I didn't do any ironing or packing (today is the last day before dh and ds go away) Didn't clean the kitchen or cook dinner or do any simming, so I am still at David's house. Over in BlueWater I have a castaway couple. I wanted to use this Maty stuff and some clothes I got from GOS. I decided any townie who walked by was fair game for a makeover... which is why Nerry Turner there looks like an islander. That 'garden' is a small strip of about 5 flowers up on their flats small front veranda which makes it even more funny that he's down like that smelling them. Yes it looks rather That's the 'smell flowers' action that came with AL I think. But promotions without skills, makes Nerry alright-whatever he wants to do!

Now I'm not sure what to do! I played parts of my rotation in one order, because that was the order I wanted to play it in. The problem is that Plot would have worked better if I'd played in a different order. Now in order to make things work out right, I'd need to use cheats to make things line up properly. Of course, making them happen at all is cheating too. And it might get confusing if I focus on it too much, but I can't just handwave everything because that's cheating the readers and I don't want to do that. (It would be tricky to pick up on this, but I do want to play fair.) So what do you think I should do?
A. Not cheat at all and find another way to make things work. B. Use cheats a little bit to make things line up right and not use them again. C. Handwave it -- nobody will notice. D. Stop being lazy and think harder about how to make it work.
Sorry for the confusingness of this post. I don't want to spoil things be going into detail, but I also don't want to get people all mixed up. If you can't follow this at all, let me know and I'll try to explain again, without spoiling things.

I'd do B. I certainly do it in my leagcy as I have to, to be able to film. I try to do it all little as possible, but Salvatore getting flu in the middle of my Christmas shoot just can't happen. Did you see my photos from the last two houses?

Jo, I did see the last post with the pictures of David Ottomas and family. He's so exactly and perfectly David Ottomas in that picture where he's yelling at the screen! I missed the previous set somehow, though. How big is that trailer -- the size of the specifications in Fuzzy's TPC? Because if so, I'm amazed that you fit two adults, two kids and a dog in there! I don't think that skirt is so hideous, though -- I have one similar in ordinary denim that I like a lot right now. I wasn't on my home computer and the pictures weren't loading right earlier this evening. Plus I was kind of focused on how to make things right with my rotations. I am a lousy commenter. Can you ever forgive me?

I think it's hideous up close because of the base game textures- but then I consider most of the base game things to be awful. A real life skirt would be fine. That's the maxis trailer park and I will go and measure it. If anything I'd say it's smaller a lot smaller. That's okay esme, knowing me I probably still owe you a comment or two, yes no? My friends page seems to zoom on by sometimes! Pictures! The trailer and a few other odd ones I just uploaded from that hood. Looks to be 10 long and 5 wide? New hack! Pick flowers for mum, isn't that sweet? Not so sweet is mary having a little accident as the paper boy looks on. "Umm son?" Family togetherness at the Ottomas's house taken a little too far.

Hahaha, that last picture's so funny! And picking flowers for Mum is so sweet, too. Esme, I agree with Jo. I used cheats sparingly in some of the spares houses, cheating is fine by me if it helps you. I went into the game and put empty lots down for the sim bin sims, then built a house for the Ramaswami's. I didn't finish their make-over though, because I'd forgotten to put my own cc back into the game and the dress I wanted for Priya was an edit I did to make a dress everyday not formal. And Sanjay's ears are so difficult to get the right hair on! He always has the LTW of Rock God in my games, so I like to find him longer hair. His ears never fit under it right!

Have you seen my makeover of Sanjay? He's the one on the calendar. I think he looks the best I've ever had him. The up hair doesn't give any ear trouble and it's Maxis as well! I matched it to Priya's hat which is one of Heidi's hairs. At his music joint. It's only a stage with some instruments and a food stand right now. There two children have a serious case of under bite though. But still cute. That cheating wasn't in a spares house, it was the main houses heir! I couldn't see how else I could film apart from making him better.

Aw, that hair looks great! I was hoping to get back in-game tonight but my laptop had a rare crash right before my parents rang, and now it's too late at night to open the game. Ah well, there's always tomorrow night. I managed to retexture another hair tonight, but I've only done the red so far. It was interesting to mix textures and layers, it's actually easier than I thought, which is a relief! It's Nouk's dreads which Pooklet converted for men. For some reason, my laptop would only download black, blonde, mousey and bright neon orange. So I've changed the orange to proper maxis red, but now I need to match the others. Might just do brown, might have to make a whole matching set...

Sounds like you're getting good at the hair retexturing/colouring Amy. I don't use any of those mirror hairs very often, but the spiky with the colour I think is a good rock star look on anyone who doesn't suit the long hair because of ears or forehead troubles.

I'm still getting used to it, it's the odd shaped ones I can't do at the moment. Long, straight hair I can retexture, and recolouring is easy if I have the colour codes. Some of the raon hairs though, I have no idea how to get the texture to lie across the hair right, it looks bizarre!

Nice job Amy!
I haven't played much the last few days. I did play my ministers house with his wife's day care. Only played a couple of days as it took awhile checking the hood for parents who would both need and afford the day care, then it crashed and I lost a day. :/
