I will! It would be great to have someone who reads my story do the hair. Today I set everyone’s clothes for the large Mobacy Christmas day party except for the toddlers. I transported them with the mirror and set them all at the main house. There are a lot of Mobacy's. And Berni (who as Amy would say "Bless him" ) arrived when I teleported him, in I think it was an M&G or AL modern look hair with hair over his eye and this pointy do at the back. So not him. I deleted a few of those 'bald' just with fuzz hairs and one must have been his. Oh yes and when Salvatore got to the clothes rack the game tells me he has the flu! I don’t care if it’s cheating, but I used the sim manipulator to cure him as well as Tony who magically got it in the same spot as well. Filming is hard enough without the game throwing in flu. A few sneak peek pictures Berni seems a lot happier with that hair cut. "How long is this going to take!" For ever as her clothing needs are so exact. I went through dozens of combos. It must be black or red or grey and straight. No prints, no frills, no puffiness. One had ridiculous shoes-gone. Angel will only wear high heals with an evening dress. Never canvas or sneakers. I don't even know how I know, but I get something on her and it's like she’s there saying "heck no!" Right in Granma’s eye, good aim young one. My new servo default. This is the third I've tried and I like this one. By Skellington.

Yay, Mobacys! ;D Aw, Berni, bless him. That new hair suits him. I know what you mean about Angel, she's got a very specific look. I feel the same with Penny, except the only shoes she will wear are sneakers! That Servo default looks great, did skell do the different coloured eyes for Servos too? I keep meaning to have a look at that, as really my Servos should have green eyes like the rest of their family. Not a single Psychologist has blue eyes as far as I know. Good idea curing them, it would have been an epidemic if you'd had flu with all the family on the lot!

I was told Angelo's lot had the flu shortly after I opened them as well. Again cured with the sim manipulator painting. Now why can't I get any illness in my self sufficient hood with a hospital just waiting for patients? Angel prefers boots these days although I used to have her wearing a Maxis outfit with some kind of low heal sandal. So kind of acceptable if there is nothing else. Maybe that was okay when she was younger, because she is technically 63 years old as she was the first born of the legacy. We just won’t say her age too loudly. I'll give you a link, the eyes are what I really like about these servos. The boys do have green! skellington7d.livejournal.com/29530.html

Is Angel immortal, I think I remember your story having the spares living forever? That's one thing I'm not looking forward to before the end of Hypothesis, ageing Piaget's generation. It doesn't seem long ago that they were the babies! I'll definitely try those Servos out on my new laptop, it looks really good. I like the Maxis Servos but the eyes do annoy me, I've always wanted a different colour for them. And I can try our different life states for them too.

Angel is, but not all the other spares, only a few select ones.
That is the third servo default I've tried. The first you will see in my OWBC update-when I get to it. It was a more serious one with no lippy and a black bow. Then I tried a newish one from MTS but I found the eye creepy. It was meant to look more android like. These ones are pretty and more fun. I like a lot of Skellington's downloads. The bow's shade of pink is a little different too.
I know. I hate it when sims who I've played from a long time die, or even when they get old.

Ah, I knew there was something else I needed to put into my new game; Servo defaults. I'll get one of my sims to make a Servo and try it out later. I'm going into my new game to take pictures again this afternoon, but this is who I have so far. If I'm brave enough I'll enter her and her neighbour into the sims prompt challenge at GoS. This is Elsa, for the prompt Friendly. Her neighbour is called Jacob and he's for the prompt Timid, but I need to retake the pictures of him this afternoon, he looked scared rather than timid in the pictures I took the other day; so I'll post again later. I'll be using the new neighbourhood to complete what's left of my 2013 resolutions, like making a hybrid creature, joining in competitions and trying out cc. There's an LJ post to come later today once I've updated all my pictures, signatures, etc. And I might make a tumblr, again only if I'm feeling brave. We'll see. *Edits* This is Jacob, for the prompt Timid. Now just to get the courage to upload these two to my box account and share them on GoS.

Aww he's so cute and she is so pretty too. Good for you! I'd be too nervous to enter a GOD contest. I'm not sure if you were around to see, but I won a place over on the MTS calendar contest and now my picture is in the uploaded Calender that Phaenoh's made. www.modthesims.info/d/494587 If you look carefully, my picture made summer. modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=490131 I do post occasionally at GOS, but I go by another name. >shifty< By the way I told Skellington you liked her defaults, I talk to her on AIM now and then. She seems to think not many people like them which is crazy. Are you ever on AIM? I never see you on, but then the time zones are so different.

I haven't been on AIM in a while, I'll have to try it now that my laptop's faster, it used to freeze if I was on AIM and another application at the same time. I guess if Skell gets the notifications when people download stuff (I know I do from my Box account), she might think it's an unpopular download compared to her clothes and hair downloads? Heh, is your username something to do with coffee or caffeine by any chance? I thought I spotted you on there. Oh wow, well done for the calendar contest! Your entry is hilarious. I knew it was happening but hadn't been on to MTS in a while to see it. I also spy Esme's Frederic in Winter, too. ;D I've only ever entered Good Genes challenges on GoS, but my resolution was to enter more competitions, so I'll give it a go. Only thing that's disappointed me this week is that SimPE is still not fully running. It's still popping up with 'not enough virtual memory'. I think we need more RAM, I might get one stick and hope it works. This laptop has 0.5GB of RAM, so it could do with more.

Hey, if I'm in the calendar, why didn't I get a nifty prize?! I just finished a play session, and I am very VERY happy. That is all.

Ooh, is your happiness Plot related Esme? ;D Ah, I was looking at the 20 day calendar rather than the 12 day one, and the bigger one has winners and runners up in. I think. Jo's in both calendars, but you're only in the 20 day one, Esme. Well, I'm downloading the 20 day one anyway, as I have Seasons. ;D Well, I was brave and I posted my sims in the GoS challenge. And I uploaded them on here and on LJ too. Now, do I make a tumblr....

Mmmmmmaybe. I just finished another play session, and I've filmed the Goldberg & Silent Lady episode for the next AiP chapter. I always feel more secure when that's done.

I am? Lol, it took me days to realize my silly picture was in an actual download, I didn't realize it was in two. Poor Sinjin (sp?) and Herbert Goodie, I'm sure they aren't pleased I got that shot. At least Herbert was dressed for the part even if he's in science not medicine. Last night I was playing one of my trailer park families, Jake is the towns gardener and Linda is the maid. (Right now they are in the NPC career track downloaded from MTS) So they twirl into Maxis maid and gardener outfit/hair on leaving for work. Once there are enough houses I will pull them from that as they should still have the work garb in their wardrobes I think? Letting them have two kids in a tiny trailer complicates things. The child age sim has to share the double bed with her parents it's so small. She grew up into a horrible base game skirt and a t-shirt so she really does look like one of those poor trailer park kids. They can't afford the one home day care that the town has and there is no nanny service yer per my own rules (and they really can't afford it anyway) Sometimes she has asked a neighbour to mind the kids, but other times there is no neighbour friend around to ask. So what would a real person do? I figured in a jam like that she would have to take them to work with her. So I used the transporter mirror and sent them over to her work, work being cleaning the Landgraab and Pleasant houses. Then third day I grabbed the neighbour and asked her to mind the kids which normally works but the neighbour must have been about to go to work herself as I get the pop up about an hour later that it isn't good to leave a toddler home alone. Ahh! I decided to save then and see... Yep along came the stupid SW to take my kids away. Exit, reload and I quickly used the transporter mirror again to send them off to Malcoms house. That was really close! So the mirror works fine, but asking neighbours to watch your kids may end up with kids taken away if said neighbour is an irresponsible flake, even if they are your best friend. Pictures! "See ya later honey, you got some baby sitting linned up, yeah?" "Umm sure, sure, don't worry about it." "It will be okay Alice, I'll figure something out." *worries* You know your neighbour is a good person to watch your kdis when she ignores her own eating from your dogs bowl, yeah? (I love that they can interact with the neighbour child though!) "What do you mean you don't have enough money for the rent?! You better pay up or you'll all be on the streets!" "I'm trying, please give us another day!" *worries* margaret: "Look I'm a kid! Now I can complicate matters by getting off the bus at 3pm when no one is home!" yeah, that will be tricky. Luckily for me it's summer holidays (mod from MTS) These poor fmailies are my favourites to play as they really make me think and are constantly in some kind of jam. Poor Linda though, I'm sure she had a far easier life as a townie. Yes they also have a dog in there as I made him in CAS with Jake back when he was single. I've crammed things in, you might notice the bat box is under a side table. 4 sims and a dog in there!

That looks really interesting to play Jo, and you've got some great ideas for them, taking them to work is a good idea, and the NPC career track sounds good too. Boo to the social worker though! I need to get into my game again and play. I'm not sure what to do next at the moment, I've got the two sims and I want to try out new things with them. It's where to start, there's so much I've never done in the game. Maybe expansion by expansion I'll try new stuff.

Well if we get a move on we could start our makeover contest or foundation challenge. But the trying stuff out sounds good. I'm constantly being surprised at things I still don't know about this game.
Esme, if you won I think you should have a blue ribbon under your user name unles each calendar is different. I found the calendars a bit confusing as there seems to be different threads and calendars but it isn't abundantly clear until you get into the threads.
That was a full on season playing that house. I'll probably hop over to the Newson’s today they live in the same trailer park. Only 4 of them, all teens at home now.

As far as I could work out, there were 2 calendars with 12 days in, one with pop up holidays and one without. That was for the winners. There were then 2 with 20 days for those with Seasons, again one with pop up holidays and one without. That had both winners and runners up on it. Yep, I'm happy to start the contest/challenges whenever everyone's ready. Will you be making the plan for the foundation Jo? I keep meaning to open my game and actually play. The internet is far too good at distracting me...
