Also tomorrow (although Sam has it up for today?) is your birthday so as the 'mature' person here I say- go play sims all day! Or whatever it is you want to do, go do it.

Well, doing the time conversion, Sam must have posted just after midnight her time. I have a good day planned, with not too much extra Simming time, but with a lot of stuff that just feels right to do, you know? And any extra time I can find... SIMS!

Julian Cooke autonomously flirted with the Gypsy which resulted in pink and red! hearts even though they had never had a date in their lives before. Not only that but Julian used my new hack (adults go steady) and autonomously asked Esmeralda to go steady. They only have 1 bolt and did this all by themselves! (Note I do not have ACR)


JaneBlob (Name given as real name escapes me) beat up Harvey Hardly (yes I gave him that name)


She may also run into problems with her other neighbours I should think.


Malcolm Landgraab secretly likes chickens.

Adults going steady sounds like a good idea, it always disappoints me that sims go straight from crush to love, then engaged and married. They could do with some halfway stages.

I got SimPE to run yesterday! ;D So pleased, it actually loaded in less than 3 minutes! Unfortunately, some of the posters I made were still back to front because I forgot to untick 'flip', but never mind, I made a few that were ok.

This is the first time I've ever made Goopy a playable. Hard to believe as I've had the game soon after it came out. He is one lazy sim, so while he probably doesn't want to tend to the large garden the hot tub and bubble blower is right up his ally.

Yes I wanted a halfway stage for sims who were committed to each other. Plus I liked the autonomous idea to it.

Both old mods, but both are working well.

They work together nicely while making sims not in a committed relationship not jealous. I was tired of having someone who dated my sim once 20 years ago and still having a pink crush heart get angry if they saw their old date kiss their spouse!

Oh definitely, that got so annoying with the Who's Your Daddy Challenge! So many crushes, so many broken hearts!

I've never had Goopy as a playable before either, I've got so many things I want to try with the game when I get this new laptop. ;D

I'm bookmarking things at the moment, making lists of favourite creators and moving downloads onto my external hard drive, so when I get the new laptop and move it all over, I can have my game exactly how I want it.

I'll probably take it out for the WYD challenge, only that avoiding the getting caught I see as part of the challenge. I'm up to baby P and Olinda has never been caught! Came close to it a couple of times though. I'd forgotten about that challenge actually, I need to get back to it. I want to finish all of my challenges.

Same here, I haven't played my WYD in ages, and I got up to V, so I may as well finish it. Lyra's never been caught by her husband, but a couple of the previous daddies caught her with newer ones. I stopped sending her Downtown after the third time!

I shot another scene of chapter 29 today, and finally settled on dresses for Marie and Rose. Cale was making me smile, interacting with toddler Tommy on free will. ;D Next I'll have to start shooting things out of order, I may as well wait until I have the new laptop to shoot the party with 30odd sims present. So I think it's time for poor neglected Max to finally become a toddler!

I've been creating again. I retextured a hair with Remi's Maxis Match textures months ago, but never got round to putting it in-game. I know it as Caffie (simself)'s hair, so she's modelling it.


It's an old mesh (possibly Peggy I think), so the texture doesn't look the greatest on it, but hey, I did it!

And I finally recoloured dresses for Marie and Rose that I'm happy with:

I added the pattern and bucket-filled black on Kayleigh's edit of the AL dress (new basegame mesh, that's how it's in my game)


And I think this was a recoloured version of a Pixelcat dress which was originally white.

Again, not the greatest, but I did it, and they'll do for now, until I get the new laptop and see how they look with better graphics.

Good job Amy! They look great. I'm sure it gives you a great sense of accomplishment. I'm tired of asking people. DoReMiFaSoLaTiDo who did the recolours on my lot is going to do some hair recolours for me as well, but being able to do it yourself must make you feel quite proud.

What I have been doing in Sims is I finished and uploaded the Island Time lot to MTS and LJ.
Trying to film this chapter, but the lot crashes quite a bit. I don't think it likes me pressing the Windows button to put in the pictures but I hate windows mode so I guess I'll have to put up with it. 14 pictures done.

Hmm, I always play in window mode as my laptop is widescreen, I'd almost forgotten there was a full screen mode!

I'm looking forward to having the new laptop as I can do hair recolours on this old laptop but it takes me half an hour for each colour (so 2 and a half hours all told - black, blonde, brown, red, grey), as my laptop doesn't like loading the pictures for each life stage in GIMP and I like to do toddler through to elder. *sigh* It'll be relatively easy (and probably addictive) to do recolours on the new one.

Ah, I knew there was something I forgot! I saw that lot and forgot to comment! I'll go do it now, it looks great Jo. ;D

If you do get addicted to hair recolouring I might come a knocking for some tweaked elder hair.

I left you a comment on LJ as well. I looked for the thanks button for ages on MTS, then realised that leaving the comment did the same thing!

I will most likely get addicted to it, if the computer works and is fast it's usually a case of copy/pasting textures (with my skills so far, anyway). I'll let you know when I'm addicted, so you can let me know what you need!
